Milo And Olive
"Milo + Olive is an all-day, neighborhood bakery and pizzeria that features the best, organic ingredients from the nearby Santa Monica Farmers' Market. Breakfast showcases Head Baker Andrea Shirey's handcrafted breads, rustic pastries and morning desserts, with plated dishes incorporating a variety of those breads, plus hearty egg dishes and bowls. For lunch and dinner, our culinary team turns out a selection of different classic and seasonal pizzas, made with our signature 48-hour pizza dough, alongside an array of rustic, Italian wood-fired vegetables. We have coffee, bread and pastries available at 7am, with the kitchen opening at 8am, and plenty of outdoor seating on our back patio!"

Yummy food. Nice variety of vegetarian, gluten free, and regular options. Despite the name, there were no olives on the breakfast/lunch menu, but we asked for a side of olives and got them. Delicious! Lemon and brine varietals. The outdoor back seating is surrounded by an edible garden.
This is a gem in Santa Monica. They offer delicious italian food. And the server is also very accomodating. We adore their protein section, especially the meatball. SO GOOD. Have not tried their pastas, but the Pizzas are a treat for the tummy. It is crisp, tasty and makes us happy. Parking.. there is a structured building nearby, just before the restaurant.
Very good outdoor settings. I will come back again for wine and pasta on a sunny day. The price was reasonable and the pizza was good. For some reason, I thought the Garlic Knot was not as good as I expected after seeing many reviews rave about it. The salad was mediocre.Food: 3/5
Rigatoni The dish was simply delicious, and I couldn’t get enough of its delightful flavors. The walnut basil pesto cream lent a rich and nutty essence to the pasta, perfectly complemented by the freshness of the market vegetables. The burrata added a creamy and indulgent touch, making every bite a pure delight. The breadcrumbs provided a delightful crunch, and the chili oil added just the right amount of kick to elevate the overall taste.
My sisters came across this place when we were looking for good Italian spots in Santa Monica. So glad we chose M&O! Everything was good, especially their lambrusco and orata. The service was also fantastic!Food: 5/5
The Margherita Pizza at Milo & Olive is delicious. The sauce is the highlight, in my opinion. The savory marinara sauce is topped generously with mozzarella medallions. The crust is absolutely delicious and toasted in all the right places. I recommend, especially if you love saucy pizzas.Food: 5/5
The pesto pasta with burrata was really good but there was too much oil in the bottom. The prosciutto was good as well.Food: 4/5
Fantastic italian food place for a dinner. I visited with my girlfriend twice in a week. The food is very tasty and the pizza options are sofisticated. The antipasti options are also very good. I tried the Burrata. The service is great within the expectations for the restaurant price and profile. I enjoyed and I would go over again when in LA. I strongly recommend it.
I had a million decisions to make today, So, I decided to leave it up to the chef to pick out dinner. And boy, was impressed! It started with some marinated olives, then came the spaghetti, and finally, the highlight of the meal, the short rib skewers with garlic butter. Everything was absolutely amazing, but that garlic bread at the end was the real showstopper for me. Wow!
We had the small baguette with prosciutto, a chocolate croissant, and a iced mocha. It was all excellent. We ordered a baguette to take home as well, and we paid less than 40 for everything.Food: 5/5
