Milpas Rental is a family owned business serving the Santa Barbara region since 1950. Founded by Pete Smaniotto, it was owned by the Smaniotto family until Pete's death in 1996. Bob Schoppe joined Milpas in 1981 as a Yardman and worked his way to General Manager. He purchased the business in 1996, following Pete's passing. Three generations of Schoppe's now work at Milpas Rental!
Milpas Rental offers the largest inventory of rental equipment in the Santa Barbara area. From heavy duty construction equipment to lawn mowers, we have quality, well-maintained equipment for contractors, homeowners, businesses and government agencies. A dedicated fleet of trucks and drivers makes deliveries quick and convenient. Two locations open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm are available to serve our customers.
