Milwaukee Brewers Spring Training Complex

I'm not a Brewers fan, but man, was this place fun! It was really well kept, extremely clean. The only downside are the ridiculously long lines for food! You could miss an entire inning or 2 just trying to get food.

Navigate to John F Long Family Services center. Do not navigate to the park— you will not find the lot. No signs. No traffic control. People parking illegally everywhere. Neighbors and adjacent businesses must hate this place. In a middle class neighborhood, this type of thing would never fly. However, the park is in a poor neighborhood.

So fun, great seats! VERY PRICEY. Don't get the chicken tenders its processed chicken...gross, but DO GET the salted caramel kettle corn, it's to die for! Walk around the whole stadium to see all the vendors. Did I mention fun...

Park itself is great, but be warned that signage for parking came close to ruining the experience. I didn't see a single sign for the park or parking like other Valley parks have. Unless you have memorized all the possible parking areas and know where the park is, you could be in for a rough experience. Thankfully, once inside the park, it was an enjoyable place to be. Food was ballpark fare with the standard drinks to go with. Could do with shade for more seats, as well, but maybe that is already planned for the next renovation.

Best kept secret of Spring Training. The traffic after the game is manageable unless you live in the area and get caught going south on 51st Avenue.

Great spring training facility. Food and drinks can be pricey, but its like that at all the other stadiums.

Nice newly renovated stadium with most seats get shade by the early innings. Good concessions but there are not many stands or restrooms.

Terrible experience, recommend you go see another team for spring training. Security guards whistling at women, team store not open, chased around the fields after walking through an open gate. After a great experience at the Angels stadium in Tempe, where everyone was very chilled out and friendly, the staff at Family Fields really left a bad taste. If we hadn't already bought tickets, we would have left and gone to another game. Won't be back. The facilities were chaotic, with shops open one minute and closed 10 minutes later. If you need to close a section, you should actually close the gate or put up a sign. No one is trying to be disrespectful, they just have no idea something is closed if it's left open. It's also completely inappropriate to whistle at women to get their attention. More training needed for security staff. Also, no stainless steel straws or reusable bottles? No thought given to sustainability here.

Very nice park appeared new in comparison to the other spring training fields. The seats were good quality and not worn down. The team shop was decent size but they do not offer military discount which is unfortunate but other than that it seems to be very family oriented. They also have sunscreen in the bathroom which is nice in case you forget it.

Family friendly, great ticket prices. Good pricesare great, beer prices are typical for MLB fields.
