The Milwaukee North Western Model Railroad is an exhibit at the Oconomowoc Area Historical Society Museum, representing the railroad history of the area.
The Milwaukee & Northwestern Model Railroad is the evolution of the model railroad layout that was donated to the Oconomowoc Area Historical Society Museum some 25 years ago. It was originally a Chicago & Northwestern layout centered around Butler, WI, but was expanded to include Milwaukee, Oconomowoc, and Ixonia. It is currently undergoing its 2nd major expansion which will include Watertown, Baraboo, and Portage. When completed it will be a representation of the entire Milwaukee Road Watertown Subdivision, with a few portions of various parts of the Chicago & Northwestern System.
