Nurses never wash their hands, no one wears masks. One staff member who checked for my vitals was literally sick and didn’t have a mask on. Why have a sign in the rooms that says “it’s okay to ask the doctor or nurses to wash their hands” when in all honesty, no one should have to? I want to say soooo much more about this place but I refuse because they may get shut down.
Do not take your family here. They are understaffed and honestly uncaring for the most part. My dad is up here..in 3 hours time between my visits his eyeglasses are missing.. like are you kidding me right now? I'm hoping they are going to replace them. But they probably won't..I mean if kitchen staff can't tell the difference between plastic utensils and glasses I'm sure there is a problem already. This place has been deplorable. My dad was refused his anti depressant for days. I had to come in and basically just give him the medication myself. Like I always thought this was a great hospital. I had one of my children here yrs ago. This experience this week has changed my mind. Really should have just went straight to Shreveport.
I love the way they treat me in this hospital they are all very friendly. When you need a service like Ct, Mri, Ultrasound I recommend that you do it in this hospital it’s much cheaper and it’s only 35 minutes from BOSSIER City, it’s a beautiful city so that’s how you go for a walk.
I was a patient in Minden Medical Center’s ICU. The staff treated me like royalty. Best experience I have ever experienced in a hospital. I've taken two different people there for two totally different reasons. Both received excellent thorough treatment. I don't care what anybody else says. They have a great ER staff I don't know about the rest of the hospital.
My Mother came in through the emergency room. Everything was disorganized from the start. Unprofessional at its finest. I never knew people in the medical field could be so heartless. They need to be shut down are better yet make it a veterinary clinic because they do not have the proper equipment to diagnose anything. Also is was filthy from the bathrooms to the waiting room. I watched two Registered Nurses wipe beds down and left blood on the sides of it and did not change the pillows case. Back to the bathrooms please be careful the one inside the emergency room has feces in the toilet paper roller I'm so glad I looked before getting tissue it was disgusting. I rate this place a ZERO OVERALL.
I was admitted to the hospital and the floor I was on, was great, friendly staff,good food, i felt well taken care of.....BUT the ER is a joke, will let you lay there in pain. Will not check on you at all, Dr Chanler is the only good DR I have seen in ER....this hospital really needs to have changes made ASAP
I recently was taken by ambulance to the er when I fell and broke my wrist . The care and attention I received was wonderful. The staff was attentive. and outstanding Thank you Janet Kazimi
The worst experience I've ever had at a hospital. Please do not have your baby's here they are the worst. Everything about it was horrible. They have no compassion for their patients or the baby's. They are only there for a paycheck literally. I honestly believe we almost lost our baby due to lack of care. They are the worst caretakers ever. I already knew the emergency department was horrible but I was hoping labor and delivery would be better. If you have an option please stay away from this place . My wife and child are still having complications and in hospital due to lack of care. It took me literally asking 15 times for 2 days just to get some cream. Never got any of the medications that the doctor ordered. Please please stay away from this place.
It has been about 2 yrs now and the staff on the Physical Therapy team and a big shout out to ALL the nurses that put up with me get during my stay. I am out of the wheelchair almost all the time now. I built a Wood Ducktruck EGOR ! I am able to get around very well considering my injuries. Life is Good these days.
