Q. What is Mindful Metal do? What do you do?
A. Mindful Metal is a therapeutic massage service catered to a client's individual & personal needs. Spasms, tension, muscle 'knots', discomfort, aches, pains, limited range of motion, etc. Equipped with table or Thai mat, MP3 player & speaker, you can schedule an in office visit, or Mindful Metal brings table & therapy to you.
Q. Mindful?
A. Directly based on the core principles found in Asian bodyworks, it is the basis and root of this type of therapy. It demands strict mental discipline from the practitioner in order to be centered, 'in the moment', attentive & deliver the best possible care based on individual needs. It is the first & foremost definition of Mindful Metal.
Q. Metal?
A. In order to achieve focus, be mindful, & work from the Hara (human energetic core in Japanese culture), certain tones & sounds are used to create an ambiance that allows & facilitates the therapeutic application of Zen. In the case of MIndful Metal, certain sub genres of heavy metal & rock are used to achieve this purpose.

A. all services provided by Rene Lagos, LMT & graduate of New York College of Health Professions. Fully Insured with own Liability & member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Q. What kind of music & tones do you play?
A. Music = *Doom/Stoner metal, *Space Rock, *Acid Rock, *Psychedelic, *Classic Hard Rock, *Drone & Ambient Metal etc.
Tones = Since metal and rock music might not necessarily be everyone's taste, there are a few other options currently available (new & different tones coming soon)..*Traditional Chinese instrumentals, *Tibetan singing bowls, *Rain/Water/Thunder ambiance, etc.
