I come to this location because of the customer service. Everyone is knowledgeable and helpful. I often need to send items to South America, and the staff always helps me choose the best way to send them. This is a popular location for passports. Appointments are required for these. Parking is metered. Bring quarters. Avoid the 15 minute max spaces. You will never get out in time.
Great service . 5 out of 5. Hats Off. Had pleasure of experiencing a market contrast when I visited at MINEOLA USPS. Officers here are gentle , fast and vast knowledge about how to responses best service. Encountered Mr Tony and he helped me a lot. Thank to you all.
Loved my experience! My husband and I took our 2 kids to Mineola to renew their passports because we couldn't get appointments in Flushing for over three months. Processing was easy because we were well prepared, that's very important. The only hiccup was the Walgreens passport pictures were not good enough so they took new pictures on site. Absolutely wonderful experience with our clerk 2, I believe her name is Shirley. She was awesome!
I received notice that my package was loaded on the truck. I live in a house but the Mineola NY location put a message after not delivering my package that my package was undeliverable. I work from home and don't have pets so I didn't understand. The next day you would think the post office would update that message but nothing. I didn't get a notice on my door or anything. I paid for delivery service but it's always an issue with the post office.
Terrible! I went there last week and the clerk refused to tape my pre printed label down for me. He stated "this is a business" and said I would need to buy a roll of tape so I could tape it down myself. I have never had this happened at any other post office. Ridiculous! One piece of tape....wow Mineola Post office. You don't have to worry about me ever coming back to your "business."
I have got to stop having parcels shipped to me at work via this post office. This most recent instance is one in a long line of lost items. This one was marked as "delivered to mailbox". We don't have a mailbox. After two trips and a phone call I'm fairly certain both of my packages are lost.
There was this middle age lady TINA she was so rude and charged me double the price for my package. I think she was not happy with her job but i did tell her that she need to work on her training. If u are planning to visit this branch watch out for her. She’l charge you extra.
Not very good in holding mail if you are away. For 3 consecutive years, I always hv my mail hold during spring break or summer vacation. Good thing I hv a nice neighbor who gets my mail fr mailbox while we are away the max. we ask the mineola post office to hold our mail is 5 days. During those time I hv mail to get fr my neighbor and half of it I hv to pick up fr the post office.

Slow service, sometimes mailed letters takes up to 3 weeks to arrive to destination. I have a po box and half my mail is from other people. They are polite at least.
