Very nice lady that checked us in but other than her I never saw any other staff at all. We were there for 3 days and were very disappointed with the site we had. The place was practically empty and our site was so close to our neighbors that we could open our doors and shake hands without even leaving our campers. It was ridiculous. The seasonal campers are not very welcoming at all. The pool is very well taken care of but when you go to it you are not allowed to bring any drinks or food at all. You can’t even bring water and I think that’s ridiculous. The place is boring. There is no tv at all not even with an antenna. The playground was very small and very outdated. This place has no activities at all. Other than the pool there was nothing to do. The camping store was a laugh. It was so small and only had about 20 items in it that looked as old as the campground itself. Won’t be going back.
We called here on a Monday night last minute looking for a week stay. They got us right in. We stayed at Safari site A next to the rec hall. Our site was pretty level, large space, plenty of room for our two cars and rig. Sites are only water and electric, but they do have a very easy to get to dump station. Pool was very clean and well kept. It was so quiet here during our stay. We had the entire Safari field to ourselves too. Owners and staff were extremely pleasent and accommodating. It's about 15 minutes from 84.
Nice place. Very quiet. Internet spotty but I have no trouble doing my work. There are actually two open wifi spots available. Ask at the front. Clean park. A bit confusing cuz I see no numbers on posts at sites. Super friendly staff. Worth the drive if you want peace and quiet or if you have kids. Town close by. Small but useful. Great scenery and homes on the drive in.
Quiet, rustic campground. Friendly people. Only thing lacking is a zero barrier handicapped shower. None of the showers had assist bars so it was a challenge.
Great family campground. The staff are friendly and aaccommodating. Nice and quiet most of the time but a fee busy weekends can get noisy but outside of those, very quiet. Lots of room for larger rigs near the entrance.
great little mom and pop run campground... cupple miles from stafford speedway... very well cared for....mom and pop are onsite.. and very attentive to the needs of the campers.. .they have a smattering of seasonal and transient sites.. a small store ... rec hall ...a pool... reasonable rates ... Playground: small ...just enough for the kiddos.....rite in the middle..of the park....campers dont have to go far to let the kids play Dog-friendliness: cant say iv met a dog that was not friendly at this campground...
My niece has a camper there I enjoy going up there there are plenty of things for the kids to do the restrooms and shower area clean management is very nice I'm thinking about borrowing my brother-in-law's camper and putting it up there. Playground: Plenty of area for the kids to play from The Big Field the swing sets and the pool Restrooms: Clean and accommodating Dog-friendliness: Definitely dog friendly
Love it here! The owners are super nice, the site is beautiful and peaceful, and shopping and necessities are close by. Can't say enough about this place and the wonderful family that owns it!!!
Just got home from our first stay here. Great campground, very clean and friendly staff.
Favorite campground ever! Sweetest kindest owner, she is top notch and definitely great camping spots. Clean bathrooms and people are great. Pool sparkling clean...worth going. Activities for adults and kids. Honestly you should check this campground out! Never a regret and going for 5yrs now.
