This place is great! My niece had a great time and burned off a ton of energy running around. I loved all the signage encouraging ages 1 to 100+ to enjoy different parts of the museum. I appreciated that in almost every area, there was an older kid version and a younger kid version which made the museum really diverse. Highly recommend the ball launcher area!
Have been there at the weekend to enjoy the time with our three years old niece. You can easily spend 3-4 hours since there are ao many stations and activities from science to car wash, from muddy garden to climbing or many physical activity opportunities. It was fun and she enjoyed a lot. I didn’t take picture since there was kids everywhere and hard to take a picture w/o capturing them.
Pros: lots of choices for play including spaces for pretend & gross motor play play structures / tinker ladders / balance boards etc. A favorite of my 4yo was the car wash station where kids can use scrub brushes and manually powered water hoses on pretend car sections. Particularly fond of the 3 and under space older siblings allowed if respecting littles space. This section has water play, smaller slides, and plenty of things for littles to explore. There is a microwave and small table if needed. Other information that may be useful - outside food is allowed though on busy days the Cafe area with tables is reserved for paying customers, eating space otherwise is limited - either way is fine with bringing wagon or stroller. If you have older kids like my older four year old it may slow you down as they may want to go to various places pretty often. That being said we brought ours and it did help getting to the museum from the parking garage but the two year old didn't use it much after that. If we only had the younger one there is space to park by the little people section! - there is an educator discount at the box office. $2 per ticket or $15 for the membership. We opted for year membership as that would pay for itself in about three visits. This also gave us a slight discount on parking Cons: Though I cannot speak from personal experience I would probably not even try this on a weekend or particularly rainy day during the summer as It could be quite chaotic when busy.
My toddler had an amazing time. We enjoyed the variety of activities that was available for families of all ages… The staff was friendly and understanding that Toddlers will Crete clutter :… I wish I took more pictures but we were too busy having fun and creating memories…

We visited in February and went on a free first Sunday. The place was PACKED and we went home with RSV. Luckily my kids were 2 and a little over 1 at the time but it was still terrifying with fevers over 105 at one point for my oldest. I would still go back but I would not go back with a young infant for sure and I will be bringing many more precautions for germs and encouraging hand washing between each station. The kids loved it tho, I don't blame the museum for them getting sick. Who knows if anyone even knew their kid or they had RSV before bringing them there. Just glad it all turned out ok.
Such a fun and wonderful day with my girls and friends. Looking forward to spending our winter days playing here. There is so much to do, you can honestly spend most of the day here. The cafe/cafeteria had quite a few options for food and snacks. There were plenty of restrooms around and elevators. The water table and the art room were big hits!
Lots and lots of activities to keep kids entertained for hours! For parents, a little chaotic trying to keep an eye on your kid as there are 3 to 4 levels and quite a few rooms per level. We would go back, but would rather frequent our local one level establishment just for less fear of losing our child. Overall a great place to be a kid!
This place is AWESOME! My daughter 3 1/2 had the best time ever. She absolutely loved the car wash area and the Inside Out exhibit. We went during the 1st Free Sunday in July and I was surprised that it wasn't more busy. The staff we encountered were all so nice and my daughter had FUN while learning and that was the most important part for me : Thank you to the Children's Museum for having a free day for families! We appreciate that so much!
