We are located in the "Magic City", Minot, North Dakota. Minot Public School District is accredited by AdvancEd, and by the state of North Dakota.
With a growing enrollment of more than 7400 students, Minot is an exceptional district with one four-year high school which is divided into two campuses: Central Campus for grades 9 and 10, and Magic City Campus for grades 11 and 12. Minot Public Schools also has 3 middle schools, 12 neighborhood elementary schools, 2 alternative high school campuses, and a Head Start program for 0-5 year-olds.
The administrators of the Minot Public Schools Facebook page reserve the right to monitor all comments and if necessary, remove any inappropriate posts. The purpose of this practice is to maintain the sense of professionalism in our district community, as well as to protect the rights and privacy of all MPS students and employees.
We comply with all federal and state regulations regarding online safety and privacy of minors. We will not knowingly post, solicit or communicate in any way with children under the age of 13.
By posting to the Minot Public Schools Facebook page, participants agree that they:
- are subject to having their comments, name and profile picture publicly visible on our page
- shall respect MPS staff and students by not posting comments that are personally defamatory
- will not post anything that is illegal, or can be construed as promotion of illegal activity, including the adherence to all copyright and fair use laws
- will not use any language that is considered abusive, lewd or inappropriate for a school audience
- will not post anything that can be considered bullying or harassment. Any such post will be removed and reported to the appropriate authority.
