Minsky Formal Wear provides tuxedo rental for prom tuxedo or for your wedding tuxedo or any other black tie occasion . We serve Dallas, Richardson, Plano, Addison, Carrollton, McKinney, Garland, Frisco and surrounding area. Special events require extra attention, to every detail, from the tuxedo shirts down to the formal shoes. Billy was awesome helping this first time prom experience momma. My twin boys got measured and hooked up with no issues. He’s knowledgeable and made the process so quick and seamless! Great selection and prices.
Tried to send my husband home with his tuxedo that was way too big. Pants and jacket were way too long and the owner didn't think it needed hemming until I insisted. The tuxedo jacket was a "long" which came below my husband's butt who is 6ft tall. The owner blamed the manufacturer when he could have just measured before hand to ensure he received the correct length of jacket . He then tried to charge us $80 to over night the correct size.
I rented a tuxedo a few weeks ago from Minsky Formal Wear and I had nothing but a positive experience.... I was extremely pleased with the staff, as well as with my tuxedo. From the way it fit, the way it looked on me, and the way the staff made sure that my tuxedo was ready on time and without any issues or surprises.... I highly recommend them for your next formal wear needs... you won't be disappointed ....
This is the second time that we have waited until the last minute to order a tux for my son to wear to prom. Minsky came through for us again. He is very focused on customer service and even ended up staying late for us to make a decision without rushing us. Excellent service and the prices are more than fair.
I showed up two weeks before my wedding to get quotes and fitted, everything was as promised and even better no adjustments needed to be made to any of the suits. I was the best looking thing besides the bride!!! On time service, quality service and would definitely recommend!!! Minsky formal Wear to me is a 15 out of 10!!! Don't look anywhere else get your suits here!!!
Minsky’s formal wear turned out to be the best choice for me to get the attire I needed for a 1920’s Great Gatsby themed party. They had everything I needed to take me back in time and was able to get it in less than one week. Their selection, availability, and staff make them the only stop for formal wear.
This is a long overdue but well deserved review. Back in January I found myself within 48 hours of a daddy daughter dance and I haven’t reserved a suit yet. I went to the men’s warehouse at firewheel town center and they wanted to charge me the price of a new suit just to rent it. So I walked out on them. I called these guys told them the situation, and without hesitation were ready to get me measured and suited. Next morning after the call I was measured around 7am. And I am a big guy. So my size was sure not on the rack. They had to order the size in and also had to hymn the pants. They literally had me on an 18 hour turnaround and took steps to ensure that the fit was correct and I had plenty of time to pick up the flowers for the dance. I would recommend these guys to anyone but out of good nature don’t wait till last minute lol. But if you do hey got you covered.
Let me tell you, Mr. Minsky is top-notch!!! I walked into his shop about 3 weeks before my wedding with a tuxedo in hand I bought online. I went in for alterations and soon realized the fit was beyond correction. So, we went over my options, including sending the suit back and ordering a smaller size. Time was of essence. I tried on a jacket in the shop to get my true size. The material and fit of the jacket was GREAT!! He said he "may" can get a tux ordered and delivered in the next few days. He stated he would call the supplier first thing in the morning as it was after 5pm in NY. The next morning he called as promised and informed me they did have my size. I went to the shop that day and paid to have my tuxedo ordered. The tux came a few days later and I came in again to get final measurements. I also got my vest and shirt from him as well. He made sure I had everything I needed. Two days before the wedding I realized my 10 yr old nephew pants were short and Mr. Minsky also made adjustments on them to allow more length while I waited. This man worked wonders to make sure I looked my best on my wedding day. After alterations, I picked up our tuxedos, vest, and shirts dry-cleaned and ready to go. I got so many compliments on my tuxedo. It was tailored to perfection!!! AND, Mr. Minsky during a time while I was stressed, constantly reassured me that everything will be fine. He took a stressful situation and made it pleasant. So, I am so grateful to Mr. Minsky for making me look AWESOME on my wedding day!! Dec. 4th He is such a joy to speak with. You can't find great customer service like this anywhere else. He is FOREVER my tailor!!
