What an amazing experience. I couldn’t get into my normal care provider and I visited this clinic on 1-08-22. I saw Dr. Tom Dvorak. I had incredible care and his funny, upbeat, and easy-going personality really put my mind at ease. If I could give him 10+ stars I would. He even followed up a few days later to make sure I was doing okay. Best in the business. I will be adding this Doctor Tom and this minute clinic to my contacts for future care.
Super easy to make an appointment and in super quick. Love the NP who was excellent. He was thorough and knowledgeable. Since there is no close urgent care and sometimes cannot get in to GP always this is a good alternative. Will definitely use them again. Took my insurance.
I made appointments online for flu shots. It was 5pm and we only waited about 5-10 minutes past our appointment time. My youngest had a fever so the PA offered to change it to an office visit and check her out. She had a really bad ear infection and needed antibiotics. I was grateful that I was given the opportunity to have her checked out and get a prescription even though we didn’t come in for that.
The normal practitioners at this location are great. It is a busy location though, so be prepared to wait, especially on the weekend and during flu season. I would like to see two practitioners there on the weekends in order to keep the wait times down. You can hold your place in line if you register online, so that is a great option. In addition, because it's in a Target, you can shop while you wait....who doesn't like that?
Went there today and found out this minute clinic isn’t there anymore. Please update your Google
Nobody there at 10:30am. I made an online reservation, but when I arrived the lights were off. I saw my name on the checkin board, but nobody showed after waiting 30 minutes. Total waste of time. No accountability either when I called the 1-800 number. I’ll pay a little more at my regular doctor and know someone will actually be there to see me. I guess they feel only their time is valuable.
Told before I had a strep test done that I probably have just something viral. I was also asked before the swab what pharmacy I used and it wasn't the in-store one. I was jokingly told I had a small mouth and had anyone told me that before. I declined a flu shot and was quickly shamed, told I guess you're the kind of person who'd never want one. I was basically told the strep test had to go out to confirm, but that would cost me more. I declined that too. I was questioned heavily why I wouldn't want to have it sent to lab. I was told if I felt worse to go to the urgent care or my general doctor. A LOT of advise unsolicited and much of it felt like a script. I left and went to my regular physician. Guess what, I have strep. Oh well, so much for trying to merely get a quick diagnoses.
The doctors were super friendly and courteous. I went in for ear wax removal which is something I had done at minute clinics for the past 4-5 years. Apparently, these doctors here told me I couldn't have it done because I had an ear tube in my right ear and wouldn't even do my left ear even though I assured them I didn't have a tube in my left. They recommended that I go to an ENT to clean out my ears. Luckily i had insurance otherwise what they did do which wasn't much would have been $100 instead of $20. Why the 1 star review? Every other doctor previously had cleaned out my ears at the minute clinics except this one. So for the mean time, I can barely hear anything out of my right ear and still have a ton of ear wax in my left ear, even though I told them I didn't have an ear tube in that one they didn't even check. UPDATE: I went to an ENT and they said I didn't have any ear tubes and they neglected to tell me about a $96 charge to my card that came a few weeks later! This place is a scam!
I was seen for symptoms of UTI, I thought that the entire process was efficient and received excellent care. I signed into Kiosk, and waited for appt time which was about 50 min, which was understandable since they were busy. I saw the nurse, then the nurse practitioner, she was very thorough and diagnosed me with a UTI . They sent it to a lab to culture it and then followed up with me to report that I needed to change antibiotic. The entire process was covered by insurance except for small copay. I was kinda surprised by the bad reviews on here and wanted to say my experience was very positive and thought they were more thorough than my primary. I would definitely go back.
The doctors have always been nice to me but the company as a whole needs to expand what they allow their doctors to do. For example, they claim to treat bronchitis/colds/etc but they can't actually do anything. I went in once with a really bad cold. The doctor was really nice but after talking for 5 minutes she ultimately said she couldn't do anything and recommended I go to urgent care to get prescribed a cough suppressant. How can the company claim to treat colds when they can't actually prescribe medication for it? They also can't perform physicals for anything other than sports. I tried to go there to get a physical done for my nursing program but their insurance doesn't allow anything beyond sports physicals. A nursing physical has a lot less requirements than a sports physical but the company, as a whole, has a very narrow range of what the doctors are allowed to do. Again, the doctors and desk assistant were very nice, but they were limited by what their company allowed them to do.
