An awesome place. Returning after 5 years. Clean and well kept. Staff very helpful. Snack Bar well stocked with goodies. Sorry it is still only one feature, however worth the $10.0. Certainly recommend visiting.
A great place to see a movie. The picture is good, and light pollution is minimal. The sound pumped through your car speakers is great. Throw in a terrific concessions operation and this is a lot of fun when you want to see a movie.
I took my kid to her first drive in movie. Haven't been to this drive in since I was a kid. Thankfully, it wasn't super packed. It was nice to pull into a row lined with trucks to find all families with kids snuggled in blankets in the beds of their trucks. Can't wait to go back for our next movie night out.
The snack bar needs major improvement. Starting with the staff she was texting on her phone, she told me hold on. She never not even acknowledged us, Van Buren blows this place out of the water. The food here is not good. For one they did not have the food that was on the menu. ‍ They’re missing out on the opportunity to make money with the snack bar. Do not come here hungry. On the other hand the picture quality is very good.
Really good drive in ! Very spacious and screens are well maintained, audio was also good. The restrooms are kept very clean and are pretty big. The snack area had a big variety of things to buy and was not expensive at all. The entrance to the drive in is $10 per adult for 2 movies!
It's nice to be still able to go to a drive-in theater. The environment of this place is family-oriented. You see families with kids excited to set up their chairs, speaker, and food, almost as if they are camping. The staff does their best in trying to keep the restroom clean. The snack bar has Mexican food and traditional movie theater snacks like popcorn and candies. The outside parking is why it lost 1 star out of a 5-star rating. There was trash littered around the area. This smell would travel with the breeze. It's hard to deceive the scent; put it in the line of a pine, citrusy type of smell. It would be Something a junkyard would spray to neutralize odor—however, those aren't deal-breakers for the theater. I guarantee you and your family will have a great time.
Good drive-in movie experience. The price is good, the restrooms are clean. One if the few places you can enjoy a new release outside. The drawback to watching a drive in movie is the ambient noise from the street or the lack of detail on the screen during dark scenes. A few tips: 1. Get there at least 30 minutes early to set up - you can pick a good spot and eat dinner that you brought in while you wait for the film to start. 2. Get concessions early - the concessions stand movies fairly slowly due to limited people working there. So if you want concessions style snacks or food, get in line 30 minutes ahead at the latest. 3. Bring your own battery operated radio - do not use your car radio for the sound as many people get stuck at the drive-in due to a drained car battery. There's usually someone that can jump start your car, but you'll have to wait your turn as several cars usually need assistance.
My husband and I loove coming to the Drive-In! We've seen many movies here and love the consession stand! They have a huge variety of food and snacks with great prices. Our favorites are their Regular Nachos w/ Jalapeños, Popcorn, Tiki Dog, and Salted Pretzel, all the traditional goods : Covid19 Safety measures are also in place, cars are required to leave 1 space between each parking spot and only 1 family member is allowed inside to order snacks. It's usually hit or miss when it comes to a polite snack bar attendant. Mind you this place is definitely vintage, but overall kept clean. I genuinely appreciate that it's around and will continue to see movies here for many years! Tip: Make sure to arrive at least 1 hour before showtime, the car lines can get very long - only inching a foot every 5 minutes! On a holidays arrive 2 hours early, at the very least!
Awesome first time experience! I usually go to Vineland Drive-In, but a friend inteoduced me to this one and I'm never going back! So much cleaner and even the restrooms are very well kept. Will be visiting several times this summer :
Have been going for years. My family and I love this drive-in. Great snack bar selection inside. Also Yes, they take card payments now!
