The new Changing Tides exhibit was a beautiful addition to the Aquarium. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. This was an excellent family outing with our son and his family. Even our 7-month old grandson would get caught up in watching the fish!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$31+
This was an amazing experience! I loved everything about it. The ladies that we spoke with were so kind and informative. You can tell that the animals were well cared for. It was beautiful and I will definitely be back!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$21–30
Nice place to spend a few hours at! It’s beautifully laid out. Our son loves to go! We especially love touching the stingrays. We ended up buying passes for a year. Try not to go on a rainy day so you can be sure and enjoy the outdoor exhibits. Great burgers at the food station!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$21–30
What a wonderful experience right here in Mississippi. Although smaller than other aquariums around the county, the facility is new and growing. Every employee we spoke with was very courteous and was eager to answer any questions. Special shout out to Ms. Maureen who we met at the dolphin exhibit and then again at the ray petting area. She was full of knowledge and you could tell she really cared about the animals and the aquarium and helped make our quick day visit to the coast that much better. We plan to come back again soon!
My family and I visited the Mississippi Aquarium on a Saturday morning. I definitely recommend buying tickets online to avoid the line. Parking was on the streets around the aquarium or in a lot nearby. It was summer and the aquarium is a mix of indoor outdoor so be prepared for the heat. Overall it was a great time!Visited onWeekendWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
Very nice aquarium, the exhibits are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and informative on their animals. The whole experience was good. If you are looking for something that is small to look through this is the spot. There are only a couple different tanks in the aquarium. They are adding another exhibit currently too. Supposed to be done in the summer of 2023.
Go early 10am because it gets hot quick. We enjoyed everything outdoors first, then went into the aquarium. As we were let in to the aviary by an employee, he told us that if we had questions... please ask! My son walked up to ask about the pink birds. Well, he ended up walking with us, explaining everything about each bird there. I LOVED this 07/07/23 @ 10:30am. The dolphins have always been our favorite! Highly recommend!
This was a fun place to visit! Unfortunately, it was pouring rain when we went, but they made sure it let us know about 60% of the exhibits were outside and 40% were inside, so that we knew what to expect. The whole aquarium only took us a few hours to tour, but I enjoyed how interactive it was. Despite the rain, the staff were very friendly, offering us useful facts about the exhibits and creatures. My favorite exhibits were the dolphins and stingrays. They also had a small cafe and a gift shop. It was clean and I enjoyed the atmosphere. My main feedback is that I do think the tickets were a bit pricey given how small the aquarium is. I know the funds go to supporting the animals and efforts of the staff, but I’ve been to much larger aquariums for the same price, if not cheaper, so that is my main critique. The gift shop is equally as expensive. I wanted to get a simple sweatshirt but it was $85, so I settled for a $5 magnet. Overall, super cute aquarium, but budget accordingly!
Very family friendly aquarium. There isn’t as much things to see but the things that they have there were pretty amazing. They have one big aquarium and then there are different outlooks of the large aquarium. They have beavers, alligators, etc outside the aquarium. They also have a dolphin training show which was nice. For a more unreal experience, they have the aviary where u can go inside the large caged building with birds roaming around. Definitely recommend this to anyone, either on date or with family. We went on the Memorial Day weekend which is free to military families.
My daughter wanted to come here for her 23rd birthday this weekend. I think I had more fun than her. The prices, in my opinion, are a little too high. But it made me feel like a kid again. I would go back.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$21–30
