I love coming to this location! The people are always friendly and they are always well stocked. They have wonderful art knickknacks and tchotchkes that are beautiful. The last time I went I was looking for work pants in black. The lady in the clothing section was very helpful and showing me all types of clothing in my size. I was also able to combine my points from my old phone number onto my new phone number giving me a 10% discount. I always receive texts about sales And available discounts. But it is not overwhelming. Are usually have a 50% off tag and a 25% off tax special going on in store. There is plenty of parking. I have bought blankets and pillows and curtains here as well as great bolts of fabric. It is a nice thrift store to shop. Thank you!

This is an excellent thrift store with constantly changing inventory. Very helpful and ultra friendly staff gives this location the 5 stars. Plenty of parking. Easy to find . Weekly sales. Did I mention great prices as well as weekly sales! Don't miss it when you are shopping for almost anything including lots of clothes and just about everything else.

I have been shopping here for many years. In the past 5 years that's a couple years Pre-Covid your prices have increased dramatically. And very very very few good finds. I have been buying and selling for 45 years. I know donations at a few CIty Thrift locations. Lotsa stuff.. but no more high end stuff? I can and prove and tell you why soon. And how does the price of Free Product go up 135%? I have personally seen 22 cars and suv's donate several items that's many bags and boxes of donations in 1 hour? So in a good percentage of the fresh stuff is delivered free to you. So...men's clothing it good.

This is a really cute place to go with family and friends because I always leave with great finds. It’s placed in a great area too.

I don’t think I’d even call this a thrift store anymore. I used to shop here every day, but over the pandemic I watched their prices climb to almost retail. If you have any ambition of finding a deal on something vintage or unique think again, they comb the store for any items they consider “vintage” and slap a ridiculous price tag on them. Most times higher than EBay. Keep in mind these are DONATED ITEMS. There are far better Thrift stores in KC. I would avoid City Thrift and Red Racks..

This specific thrift store is very disorganized, and it has a poor selection of quality items for how overpriced it is. There was a lot of conflicting information employees shared with me concerning the exchange policy, leaving a lot of confusion and deception.

decent thrift store, has a lot of Forever 21, Shein and Banana Republic. prices are fair but can be high.

I'm not sure of her name, I think Linda ‍, but she works there, definitely has the in charge vibe, I love her. She's so helpful and nice every time I'm there. Always makes my day. The store is great too lol. I spend way too much time in there, and they always have a lot of coolg stuff to look through. I feel like the prices have increased a little but they have everywhere else so it's fair. If you're anything like me, plan on being there longer than you intended.

Have loved City Thrift for many years. I shop here often. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but their bathroom is nearly out of order every time I stop in often with little kids. Constantly leaking or breaking toilets. They also removed the dressing rooms a few years ago, so you can't try anything on. PROS: The store is organized, with a great vintage section that I often find great treasures in. I love how well they keep the housewares and clothing organized. The staff is always kind and there are plenty of people working here at all times of day to help. CONS: Previously mentioned facilities issues. The prices are NOT thrifty in my opinion, and they just keep getting higher and higher. I do appreciate the rewards points system so I can earn discounts - but this is the most overpriced thrift store I shop in. I regularly leave things behind because they're just priced too high. I don't donate here because I prefer shops that are priced lower so people can get what they need at a better price.
