The food was good. We enjoyed the appitizers - tuna and calamari - a bit more than the main dishes. The main dishes were decent but not great. The crab cakes were a bit dry and could have used sauce, and the presentation felt a bit hodge podge. The desert was really good. The waiter was really responsive and friendly. The booth we sat in felt like you were being forced to lean forward. Overall decent, but it could have been better for $200.
Does the plate I am posting look like it's worthy of $22?? That is how they brought my "shrimp and chips" out. The 9 shrimps were rubber. He fries were stale. One star for the waitress. She gave good service.
Got takeout with a quick and courteous hostess. Ordered it from the bar, food took only 10 min to prepare. It was delicious!! So much more flavor than I was expecting for a simple fish and chips lunch special. They use a lot of aromatic herbs for the fish and fries. Staff were all super nice and made good conversation too. I'll definitely be back here many more times in the future. Kid-friendliness: Nice family setting. Parking: Large mall parking available for free. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level access. Dietary restrictions: They list all the dietary details for their dishes.
With new employees there is a learning curve. Our waiter got to our table about 15 minutes after we were seated. Very apologetic we were offered a comp appetizer, which we greatly appreciated. The food and service after that were top notch! Great atmosphere as well. Great place, I highly recommend them.Food: 5/5
I eat here usually twice a week when I'm in town. This place never disappoints the bartenders are great and the food is very consistent. I highly recommend getting the salmon blackened and Shanghai. It does not disappoint.Food: 5/5
First time here and it was a great experience. Seated immediately and my server appeared shortly after. Great menu selection. Had the lobster and shrimp stuffed cod and it was great. Will be back soon.Food: 5/5
My daughter wanted to try fish and chips and the reviews were basically assuring we would have a great dinner. It started off bad, the hostess didn’t want to seat us in a booth w a high chairfire hazard, the starter was really good, the fish and chips had no flavor whatsoever it was a waste of $30 dollars, my noodles were okay, and we just wanted to leave at that point. It took forever for us to get our server to bring us anything drinks, then our food, and we ate in a total of 25 minutes but we couldn’t leave waiting on our boxes and check so it took us 1:30 of just a bad experience. We were in good spirits on a fun weekend gateway and wasted our dinner here : there was a guy also looking around took them 15/20 min to get their water’s
Me and my husband we both had a satisfactory experience. I tried Oysters for the first time. The staff is friendly. We were done really late but still the lady who was assigned our table asked us if we wanted desert. Nice place. Good quality food.
Stopped for dinner on way home while Traveling. We did look ahead and relied on google reviews to pick a place. I definitely expected more. It was about 5:15pm when we got there and pretty empty. There was only one other table set with menu in the dining room but otherwise empty. The food was very either very bland or did not have good flavor combinations. Calimari was rubbery. Pecan crusted trout flavor was not good at all. I had the stuffed cod, the sauce made it edible. It took a long time for our food to come. Our waitress seemed distracted and less than happy to serve us. As we waited, a few more tables were sat. We noticed everyone else got a bread plate and when we asked she basically said there other servers kept taking ours but again we were the only people there. The air freshener smell from bathroom was insanely strong and didn’t mix well with the fish. We should have taken that as a notice to leave before taking a seat. I have no idea how this place has 4.4 score under reviews.
I have been in this place twice, one for lunch and one for dinner. For lunch, I ordered the Tuna Bowl, and it was delicious, very fresh and balanced. For dinner, we order the Tuna poke as appetizers for share, again, very fresh and balanced, really good if you like raw fish. As main course we tried the crab stuffed salmon very good and the ginger crusted salmon good, but could be tasteful.
