Great place to buy gifts

Greeted and offered assistance almost immediately in the door. Lots of New Orleans and Louisiana themed items. Fun items for every holiday. Prices are reasonable. Nice place to pick up gifts for family and friends. Staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Made a purchase, as usual. The staff greeted you upon our enterance into the shop. The clerk was courteous and friendly; however, we did not feel the warmth we expected per our many prior visits. We particularly noticed, we did not recognize any of the staff members. The selection was nice, but though we normally purchase several items per visit; not this time. Only one item purchased and it was less than $10.00 during this visit. Something has truly changed. Truly miss the fun times of shopping at M. J.'s.

Very clean and neat place. A small retail store that specializes in New Orleans themed décor, clothes, jewelry, accessories, flags, serving dishes, wine glasses, jewelry, soaps, shoes, decorative household items, towels - you name it...they have it. With friendly and fair service.

I received personal and informed service at MJs when I purchased snowball pendants for my granddaughters. I mentioned that it was too bad I wouldn’t be able to shop for my grandson as easily and was immediately shown a perfect metal cross in his school colors. Voila! Valentines’ Day finished in less than 30 minutes!
