My wife and I, along with our son, her sister and a friend went here Saturday evening to see "FAST X". Great show. This was our first time at this theater. Usually we go to the 15 mile and Vandyke theater. The lobby was nice and clean. Staff were pleasant. We liked the new serve yourself drink machines. The theater room we went into had some pretty worn seats, but were still comfortable. This is understandable with coming out of the pandemic and the economy getting back up to speed so hopefully new seats will come in soon. Overall theater experience was very nice. Would go here again for sure. MJR is our favorite theater.
New VIP seating is nice, but the air conditioning was out. It was uncomfortably hot in theater 10. I notified theater staff, who told me they were aware of the problem and had called someone out. My family and I would have liked to have been notified before going in and offered an opportunity to reschedule. No movie is worth that ticket price, plus all the money for drinks and snacks to sit and swelter for two hours. Would much rather have streamed something in the air-conditioned comfort of our home.
Not a single human in sight when we walked in. The kiosks weren't working properly it took 3 tries to purchase our tickets. The popcorn was stale. The chairs were broken and all ragged looking in the theater. I was very disappointed and probably won't ever go back.
I've been here over 20 times in the past 2 years. Every time I go, the place is pretty clean and the staff has been nice. When we went on a Sunday in May around 1pm, the concessions stand line was really long, however the line moved really fast and only took 5 minutes. They have reclining chairs in all of the theaters I've been in, and some of them have the VIP seats. The VIP seats are nice. They even come in sets of 3 in some of the theaters.
Very pleased with this theater! Recently took the family and really enjoyed ourselves. Concessions were reasonable for a theater and popcorn was delicious. Seats were extremely comfortable and both the picture and sound were great. I love picking seats in advance. Only negative was the additional per seat “service charge” when booking online.
This is the 3rd time we’ve come and the screen is dark for previews. You can listen to them but not see them which is incredibly annoying. Today an employee said it’s because they’re “missing a cord to show the previews” and that there was no plan to replace it. How ridiculous - the previews are half the fun.
nice place! been going here for over a decade with my family and friends. good food options, sometimes there’s annoyances with people sitting on their phones in the theater and i don’t think staff check on the theaters like they used to do years ago. i love it here though, highly recommend MJR theaters!
Most theaters have been redone and are comfortable. Good selection of movies. Popcorn always taste old
Every employee I've ever came in contact with at this location has been professional , friendly and helpful. The theater is always tidy the lobby the restrooms everything.
Close on convenient, but so Glad the updated the recliners, they were looking pretty shabby and was not feeling comfortable with the cleanliness.
