Georgia Russell! Where to begin!? Condescending, judgemental of your past! Does not listen to patients and their concerns. Instead she throws her opinions around and assumes she's right on everything. Now. I get protocols and regulations, I truly do! When you have 3 other patients reach out too you after seeing the APRN Georgia Russell at the emergency room for a c.t but treated like a drug addict and judged primarily on your past history not your current, not the fact you've been sober or clean for years. She jumps straight to assumptions. Two other patients. One could of lost their eye due to her miscalculated assessments. Another almost died of an allergic reaction she sent him home saying it was a common cold even though the truth was his throat was closing off, thank goodness for all of us who don't trust doctors we saved our selfs!! Time for a change here dontcha think!? She flat admitted she did not care of other people's emotions she's there to rule out major problems and send you on your way. A TYPICAL HEADACHE is what she claimed I had. Even though prolonged numbness threw my whole left side and vomiting, alot more issues. Moab hospital time for real doctors that actually have bed side manor and care, to take over. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO SALT LAKE OR COLORADO. Also if your in recovery looking for help, DO NOT GO HERE! YOULL FEEL WORSE THEN YOU DID WHEN YOU WALKED IN! there's people out there that feel and care for your menta and physical health besides this horrible place! I was not seen by an actual certified Doctor either. TIM I apologize I do not know your last name. But I appreciate you and thank you!
We were German tourists at Moab Regional Hospital to have a stinger operated out of our finger! We were helped very professionally and extremely competently. All the staff were very helpful and obliging! Especially with Mr. PA-C Counterman we felt very well taken care of. Many thanks to the hospital staff
I never leave reviews, but this was one of the worst hospital experiences of my life. Everyone was incredibly unprofessional, had no supplies, the most bottom line supplies such as GoLite. I came in with the norovirus, as I now know and being seen in Denver, and they did scans to tell me I was not backed up. Sent me home in an hour and when I returned the nurses were rude, saying “what” when I rang the call bell and directly telling me I do not have an emergency. I also have cystic fibrosis, so any sort of debilitating stomach bug needs to not be taken likely. They said they could ambulance me to Grand Junction, but then no way to get back to get my car. Didn’t want to admit they had no expertise on CF and that’s why they wouldn’t admit me, there was no actual doctor there. Once my white blood cell count went up, they wanted to helicopter me to denver, which I have no money for and ended up driving but when I presented that idea one of the “nurses” was like “YaH thAts A GOoD IdeA” I had to buy all laxatives and such the next day for my drive to Denver.
My goodness, this facility is staffed with the nicest people! Dr. Reay and his nurse in ER on 5/14 saw my kiddo with strep. I work at a Denver area hospital and my kid commented on how wonderful this place was - even nicer than "mom's hospital." Thank you for caring for us!
2 stars instead of zero because the doctor is great, but the rest of the staff is slow, unhelpful, and lacks knowledge. Got concerning test results back but nobody cared to explain them to me. Wanted information uploaded to MyChart and was sent to 4 different people. I’ll see the doctor at a different hospital from now on. Wouldn’t go here if you actually care about seeing your health results.
Doctors are great literally the best in the state. Which makes me sad to do this but Moab regionals billing department makes them UN-USEABLE. Every time we have gone we have had to call so many times to figure out what's going on with the bill. This most recent bill we have called every day at least three times a day and have been sent to voice-mail with no response we just wanted to pay but there has been no correspondence till today when we got mail from collections. I will never use them again for care simply because of this. Drive yourself somewhere else if you don't want the headache of a life time. Medical care is expensive enough to not make it easier to pay a bill just adds insult to the injury.
My son saw a therapist at this hospital weekly for several months. One appointment was cancelled by the therapist for unknown reasons. Since then my son has made over 6 calls trying to get rescheduled. They DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS!!
Had an appointment with Dr Eve in August 2022. I got billed incorrectly, I was told by my insurance it was coded wrong. I, as well as my insurance company, have called the billing department time and time again for months now. We keep being told we will receive a call back and never do. It is extremely frustrating to be lied to over and over. I will from now on go to the San Juan clinic were they care if I'm charged wrong and actually take my phone calls.
It's weird how all these people complain this hospital won't prescribe anything. They were super speedy to rx SSRIs when I went in with RA symptoms and a family history. I asked for the tests and they said they'd give them to me. A week later I get a call telling me nothing is positive, but would you like us to give you something for pain? I said yes and went to the pharmacy only to be told they wrote me a script for antidepressants. I was shocked. A few months later I woke up in excruciating pain and made an appointment to be re tested for RA. The NP looked at my chart and said they never even tested for rheumatism the first time.
This hospital and they're absolutely atrocious service should be entirely ashamed of themselves. It is beyond ridiculous that they would have someone wait one week before very serious test results when in grand junction there is a hospital that will provide those results in 2 hours. They thought it was reasonable for me to wait 1 week for very serious test results when my life was in the balance and all they had to do was send it to this other hospital and get the results in 2 hours. Extremely unprofessional and actually entirely lame. For shame
