Today I had surgery at Moberly Regional Medical Center with Dr. McCoy as my physician. From the minute I was assisted at the registration desk until my dismissal after surgery I was impressed and proud of our local hospital. The sense of knowledge as well as compassion from the entire staff gave me the comfort and ease of emotion that I needed. Well done Moberly Regional Medical Center ... keep up the great work!
The nurses on the second floor are amazing! I appreciate everything they did for me. I don't like the hospital it's self, but what a great team of nurses, techs, and doctor. I got a thank you card from the nurses in the mail; which made me feel like I wasn't just a number but an ACTUAL human being that was thought of by someone other than my family. Thank you for everything!!
The waiting/reception area to check in, was vacant for about 30 minutes causing my appt to run a bit late. Otherwise, the visit was great. Shout out to the radiology dept!! They were so nice to me and helped calm my nerves regarding the procedure!
The only area I struggled with was the check in process. I was called and told to come in early to do the paperwork prior to my visit. I took off work early and showed up prior to my appointment. There was a sign to sign in and have a seat. Finally after my appointment time someone came to check me in. The desk where you sign in did not have anyone at it. I ended up wasting 30 minutes of personal time from work to sit in your lobby. After I finally got checked in they called me immediately for my mammogram. They were waiting for me. The check in process needs to be streamlined. That was the only issue I had.
On August 9th, I had cataract surgery on my left eye at Moberly Regional Hospital. This was my first time in this facility. The staff was very caring, kind and efficient. Can't wait to have surgery on my right eye. Thank you all so very much.
had surgery but I have bad front teeth I believe were bumped during or... not their fault I had appt for oral consult same week of my abdominal surgery which went well but I woke up with my face swollen like I had od on Botox most of my face We was excellent quik efficient and explained every thing they were giving me etc... unfortunately ended up back in ER face swollen worse retreated and gave same plus additional meds same experience they are all good nurses Drs staff . Thank you for saving me from stroke or heart attack or? 5 stars
I was taken care of very well and in a timely manner everyone was polite l had never met Dr.Gilbert before but he was very good to explain everything and the results of my procedure
I had to have a Cardio Stress test with Echo done last week, and could not have asked for a better team! They were all so nice, cheerful, and comforting. They made a great cheerleader squad for finishing my time on the treadmill! Conversation was light-hearted, helping to keep me calm. Not that I want to repeat that test, but should I have to, I have no qualms about going back to see them again!
Dr McCoy is absolutely amazing. Not only does he have a great bedside manner, he is highly trained and qualified to do so many things that can help women out in so many ways. He delivered my 1st child in 07' and again in 10'. I will travel wherever he goes to practice. Moberly Regional hospital should feel privileged to have him practice there.
