The Mobile Mounted Police Auxiliary are volunteer Auxiliary Police Officers that assist the Mobile Mounted Police with crowd control, downtown patrol and special events such as Mardi Gras, Bay Fest and the Greater Gulf State Fair.

The Mounted Police Auxiliary was established in 1997 to help maintain peace, order and law in our community under the supervision of the Mobile Police Department; for God and Country, to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, the State of Alabama, and the City of Mobile.
