Passing the Physical Agility Test is another requirement in the screening process. The Mobile Police Academy offers physical agility tests monthly, and on Saturdays quarterly. Dates are posted in the timeline.
The physical agility tests require you to do sit-ups, push-ups, running specific distances in set times, and lifting weights that simulate the real life weight of a person or object.
Once you pass the physical agility test, submit an employment application at the Mobile County Personnel Board, located at 1809 Government Street Mobile, AL 36606 or online at personnelboard.org.
