I hadn't been to the new location. It is wonderful, spacious, and welcoming. The staff is super great. The books available were a surprise to me. I even returned the next to buy a book and grab a wrap. Local gem I plan to return to more often.Food: 4/5
This is the place to go for amazingly fresh coffee! The Chicken Pesto Panini is to die for, as well is their gluten free desserts and pastries. They host game and trivia nights The Harry Potter one was my favorite. Overall it’s a great environment with great staff!Food: 5/5
A friend took me to this place and I loved it. The caffe is a beautiful haven for those seeking solace, inspiration, or simply a moment of pure indulgence. The interior is a harmonious blend of modern minimalism and cozy charm. They have books and the coffee that I drank tasted really good. The customer service was great.Food: 5/5
I never knew this place existed, and my first experience, was stellar. The caffe was very inviting , the atmosphere was very peaceful. Theres a there's a section to eat and a small lounge area, with a small library behind. The food was delicious, I got the veggie patty Melt. I just wish they were open a little bit later.Food: 5/5
First time coming here & I have a new favorite. The menu has a huge range of beverages and food items; breakfast & lunch which I love. The coffee is GOOD- like, they brew it + do it well. The space is quiet enough to focus on your book/work but not so silent you can’t hold a conversation. There’s tons of seating options and cozy corners to work in & they sell handmade items from local creators and tons of books. Really feels like a hidden gem- will be back for sure!!
I have been to Mocha Lisa numerous times both in the former location and the spacious and nicely appointed new one. I enjoy the lattes and some of the pastries. I was in the mood for a cinnamon roll with my latte this morning. I was reading a wonderful book and wasn’t paying much attention but I did notice that the roll was pale, as if it had been underbaked. After finishing the roll I realized that it was tasteless and there was absolutely no cinnamon in it. I understand that the rolls are made somewhere else. Why sell them when they are anemic, bland, and without cinnamon?
MochaLisa's is a fantastic venue. The interior is bright and spacious, the drinks and food are great, and they are very supportive of the community. I am an author and was pleased to work with the owners not only to have my books added to their inventory, but also to collaborate on a book release event that was a great success. I'll be happy to work with them again in the future!
I had the Chipotle chicken sandwich which was quite good and a decent size too with a Morrocan Mint tea. Pleasant atmosphere, a smaller but decent selection of books many great choices for gifts and they have events time to time as well. Great place, friendly service without breaking the bank - will definitely return.
This is my second time coming back here and still did not have a good experience- the staff was friendly enough but I still ended up with whole milk in my latte after clarifying 3 times and my breakfast sandwich tasted off- maybe the turkey sausage? My sandwich wrapper was also pretty dirty on the outside and covered in avocado and I didn’t order anything with avocado so that was a little off putting. Disappointing because I always hear great things but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case for me.
Excellent place to sit, chat, meet with friends, and have great hot drinks and food. Friendly staff. The owners also support local authors, writers, artists and others. You can in fact browse best sellers and local books/artwork and buy them while you're there.Food: 5/5
