Modern Spine PLLC - Dr. Kenneth Lee

I have been so patient trying to relieve my symptoms of herniated discs, spondylitis, and disregenerated spine but all they want is for me to get steroid shots. Why would I get steroid shots that will in time weaken those areas. Wanted to get my nerves tested bc I have a pinched nerve on my left side, was told they dont do that there. Arent they a spine specialist? The name is Modern Spine. Was told he could not prescribe me a muscle relaxer that he has prescribed for me in the past bc it will conflict with my antidepressants. Well, why wasn't that an issue before? Is he just know getting familiar will my list of medications that I have provided him years ago! And ladies go with your husband because they treat you differently when you are alone. Years and money wasted. Go somewhere else. What a joke.

Diligent, and caring. I was educated in what I needed and was given the time and comfort to proceed. Dr Kenneth Lee and his assistants were amazing.

I've been a patient of Modern Spine for over 10 years. Dr. Lee has been instrumental in my ongoing treatment for chronic spine issues. I can't say enough good things about the practice, the people involved in my care, and of course the guy who put it all together. He is a fabulous surgeon - spends an unbelievable amount of quality time with each patient. He listens very attentively, he remembers from visit to visit even if it's an annual visit and he just genuinely cares about the health of his patients. I drive a fair distance to see Dr. Lee and I cannot imagine putting my back in the care of anyone else. The guy is incredible and his staff are amazing. I'm a fan for life and have referred many of my teammates and colleagues to Modern Spine and will continue to do so.

Great experience at Modern Spine!! Had my second appointment yesterday and they really know how to make one feel comfortable and like they’re in safe hands. They explained everything clearly and made sure I had no questions or confusion about both the procedure and what caused the issue in the first place. Dr. Kenneth was my doctor and I highly recommend him. Will definitely be my first choice for the future :

I think Dr Lee is great. The first time I met him I liked him. He has a great bedside manor. I like his office staff also. In the times I have been there they have been very help full. He saw my back curving a year and a half ago did surgery put in 6 screws and I have been fine every since. If you have back problems see him he will help. All other Drs just wanted to give me pain pills and that's it. Also Dr Aggrawol was very nice and helpful he's funny.

Horrible doctor & horrible staff. They don't return phone calls and are very rude when there in person. I was lied to as to my surgical procedure and now have a spinal cord injury including cauda equina. When I brought up my concerns dr lee, his PA & MA tried to bully me & laughed at me. Please don't go here for your own protection.

I write this post after 2.5 years or working with Modern Spine. First off - Dr. Lee is a very nice human being. A strong doctor as well. However, 2 back surgeries later - I have improved only a bit. The reason for a one star, negative review, is how awful the office staff is at customer service. They never return voice messages, prescription refills for something as generic as diclofenac is like pulling teeth, and it takes 3-4 phone calls to get anything solved. I’m fed up at this point and felt the need to warn anyone else with back problems that is thinking about using this company. I’ll be seeking out a new specialist and kind of wish I did 2.5 years ago.

Dr Lee is awesome. He has a strong belief that you should work on healing your body and not do surgery until all other avenues are exhausted... and he is a surgeon. He is what Doctors should all be like- have the best interests of the patient over his pocketbook. I have been going to him for several years and he does treat me as needed, even having done an epidural which has lasted several years. He has stressed exercise, eating right, stretching, etc. If you want a good honest answer about what you need to do help your back, this is the guy. Also, in regards to the one review about trying to get paperwork, yes they did have a staffing issue and it made it difficult I too encountered it and ended up having to just go down there face to face and get what I needed, but it seems to have been resolved! They are responsive and do get you what you need.

Dr Lee is very patient and understanding of my medical needs and did an excellent job on my back surgery procedure and recovery And has a great staff..
