Mediocre food at best. Good service, they were out of some of the tap beers. The food was a good serving size, but the meat was only lukewarm and the cornbread was half cold / half hot like they’d both been microwaved quickly. Did not really taste like other smoked Turkey I’ve had at other bbq places. Nice outdoor seating area though, and the service is as very fast and kind.
I love the food here. One of my favorite places to eat. However, my last few orders have been wrong. The person ringing in the order and/or the cooks are not paying attention to detail. This past Wednesday I ordered the brisket sandwich with white sauce on the side. Of course I get home and my sandwich is soggy I just need this place to get it together!!!
Gave Moe's a try the other day. Neat little out of the way place. I liked the atmosphere. The staff was very nice. Fast service. I ordered the 4 bone rib platter and they gave me 6 anyway! Food was good. I would have liked to see a better rub on the ribs. Seemed to be salt and pepper only. But they were well cooked. House made chips and the baked beans had a good flavor I had not had before. I'd go back Update. Went back a second time. Outstanding brisket sandwich plate.
This place I highly recommend. They have the best turkey salads, and my kids love their smoked chicken wings. I will be trying more of their menu, but so far, I can't order anything but the salad because it's that good.Food: 5/5
As soon as I walked into this place I knew it was gonna be good. I love the smell of bbq joints. But the food was even better. Tried their smoked Turkey Sandwich, Pulled Pork Sandwich, and their pickled coke slaw. Both sandwiches were out of this world. I could eat both of those on a weekly schedule if I lived close by. But the surprise super star was their coleslaw. Un-freaking-believable!!! The flavor was definitely on point. Great job to this crew.
Years ago I gave a five star radio. First time I’ve been back since 2014 not the same place it used to be. A tad bit rundown, and could use a little extra elbow grease on the cleaning. But I had the Sunday fried chicken and it was tasty.
The food at Moe's is always pretty decent. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu however, the brisket is their weak point. The red and white sauces are fantastic, especially on the smoked chicken and turkey. What gives this place such a low score is the atmosphere. It's hot inside and out. No justifiable AC inside so it stays as hot inside as it does in the shade so it's not the best place to grab some BBQ with young babies. Since we get have 3 seasons of summer and 1 season of "almost summer" here in LA, I put this as the lowest pick for BBQ in Baldwin County.
Forth of July weekend and our grill gave out. Moes was to the rescue. ‍ This was my first time at this location and it was great. Chicken, mac n cheese, and banana pudding were excellent. The potato salad had a bit too much either mustard or vinegar so eating it in full was a bit unappealingly completed. Will try again for sure!!
Food is very good, just missing something, not sure what. It is good, their Mac and cheese is spot on same with baked beans and, well all the sides. I thought the corn bread was a touch dry. I'm sure that's just me. The big dinger for our party was that we didn't see any other sauces. Their bbq sauce is good, I think having an option for something spicier, or sweeter or fire hot would have been great. I'll eat here again, and again and again. It's a comfortable place to eat for a couple or a group.
My family and I sat outside. The food was good. I got a loaded potato, and the service was great. But there were termites flying everywhere, lol!! At first, we thought it was tiny moths flying, nope, its termites. That's all!!Food: 5/5
