Providing public service through fire protection, fire prevention, and public relations to Angelina County since 1981.
The Moffett Fire Department is an all volunteer department in Angelina County. MFD maintains a membership of approximately 20 volunteers. MFD operates out of a single station with the following apparatus: 1 engine, 1 55 ft ladder truck , 2 tankers, 1 brush truck. The department serves approximately 7,000 citizens, and receives approximately 250 - 300 calls for service each year. Services provided include fire suppression, fire prevention education, rescue operations.
