MOJO Old City BBQ

Good food. Since school is in the entire town is slow! Perfect time to explore. First time here. Food came out fast. The missing star was for parking. There honestly isn't any good parking anywhere. But the lot I stayed in was muddy lots of potholes. Machine to get your parking ticket was very sketchy but after 5 minutes got it to work. Other then that, the atmosphere was inviting and bathrooms clean. I definitely will stop by for lunch again!

My wife and I visited today, 12/30/2022. I had the two meat platter with brisket and smoked chicken breast with fries and baked beans and my wife go the house salad. We planned to share the meals. The brisket was very good, better than most Texas BBQ joints that we visited, the chicken was perfect, the fries were excellent, the Texas toast was no that good, no flavor and chewy, the beans were weird tasting, having a seasoning or flavor that wasn't bbq style. We have visited here many times and I have always liked the beans so something has changed about them. The salad was good. The server, David, was very friendly and efficient. The food came out very fast. I would recommend.

Walking up to this place is already had an atmosphere of chill and beautiful. When we walked in you could tell the place was going to be good. The restaurant was clean the person at the door was smiling and friendly. We were sat immediately and within seconds drinks were being ordered. The menu was not overwhelming but had a GREAT variety of dishes on the menu. The onion ring app is enough appetizer for 4 and the food was outstanding. I don't think there is anything I would not have ordered on the menu. Highly recommend this place if you're in St Augustine !

This place is centrally located in St. Augustine; the smell of the food is alluring when you're walking by; it was definitely worth a try. However, while the food was tasty not incredible, the service was close to awful; our server apparently wasn't into taking care of customers. The place was empty and she just took forever for everything, completely impolite and seemed to be annoyed by the simplest request. It took her about 25 minutes to even take our order. Thankfully the food was prepared quickly but the experience could have been much better had we had a better waitress with a friendlier attitude.

Good food and great service. We had pull pork shoulder, two- meat combo, and Mojo Q salad. St. Louis ribs were juicy and pulled right of the bones. Beef brisket was ok somewhat dry. Pulled pork shoulder and mashed potatoes were tasty. The Mojo Q salad portion was good and huge! My wife couldn’t finish the salad with pulled pork and shredded chicken!

I have not been thoroughly impressed with restaurant food in a long time….today I was. This might just be the best food in this category I have ever had. The onion rings are ridiculously good, and huge. The chicken wings and brisket are absolutely amazing and the Mojo BBQ sauce is outstanding. The service here is great and very fast. We waited less than ten minutes for three meals and an appetizer. The price point is wonderful. For the quality, quantity, and location, the price is very reasonable. I would come here over and over again and suggest you do the same.

Onion rings were superb, brisket meat in the sandwiches was tasty and juicy. The server we got, Aubri, was attentive and friendly, the price of the food is very reasonable, and all of this in a place located just off Saint Augustine's main street. Can't recommend it enough!Food: 5/5

Food was great! Service was great! Definitely try the buttermilk fried chicken and mashed sweet potato! I was so impressed with it! My husband loved the sliced brisket and baked beans. Also, the huckleberry mojito is Chef’s kiss! Our server did not get his name but was working behind the bar was very friendly! Overall great experience here!

Great menu with a large selection of plates including briskets and sandwiches. The meat is really tender and all their sauces are homemade. Be careful if you take an apetizer as the plate are as big as a main course make sure you can share!.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
