In 1999, Moka Joe entered the gourmet coffee market by small batch roasting to-order in Bellingham, WA. We loaded the basket on our bicycle and delivered our product around town. We have grown over the years to supply hundreds of small cafés and stores. We are now located in Anacortes, WA and still roast to order so you have the freshest cup of gourmet coffee around. We source coffee from sustainable, fair trade organic farms. We strive to provide living wage jobs for the farmers that grow our coffee and also the employees that work with us at Moka Joe.
We have made the deliberate decision to acknowledge that our choices matter, and to act accordingly. The benefit to the customer is that our premium gourmet coffee is not only a rewarding experience to sip and ponder, but the coffee purchase contributes to Fair Trade practices and is Sustainably Grown.
