Beautiful facility. More area to sit or bleachers would be nice, but we'll cared for and good parking.
Great football game played ar community park, Hampshire beat Mokena in a hard fought game. Congrats to all the players & coaches ,& the fans.
This place is absolutely beautiful. The dog park is nice and clean. Being elderly and disabled I feel extremely comfortable. Restrooms: They were spotless and fresh. Loved that they had a handicapped one. Dog-friendliness: Absolutely clean and comfortable. Katana loved it.
This place was a complete waste of time. I walked in here trying to get a Nova quarters 5 lesson card and they were a complete waste of my time. They made me go down the street to the oaks recreation center only for them to tell me they have nothing to do with selling the lesson cards. Its good to know they don't want me to support local businesses. Thanks for nothing. Please do contact me if you are the manager of this facility.
Perks are nice conveniently located near all residential areas. Some are boring just swings and play areas. Not much for the adults to do at the park. Walking paths are okay uncapped and usually garbage piled up at most of the areas. Unable to play safely at some parks because of the constant traffic going through the main Park. When there are baseball tournaments or softball tournaments parents driving in and out car insane because they are running late. Not exactly sure what the splash pad was for. Every time I go to Tinley Park I am sad and a little bit because they are much better then ours.
Difficult to find areas that don't have some sort of broken glass everywhere garbage cans are always overflowing. And people driving through at high rates of speed near the park no police officers ever are present to mitigate some of the speeding be very careful in and around main Park
Trying to get more Pickleball courts by striping tennis courts and making them multi-use. Was told homeowners don't want Pickleball, tennis players don't want Pickleball, and there are already 6 courts at Hecht Park. Last summer I tried to play Hecht park several morning and there were sometimes 40 people wanting to play. I don't see anyone waiting to play tennis. Other opinions?
