The Foundation promotes charitable giving to advance educational projects consistent with its mission and purpose. Funds are derived from cash gifts, corporate and foundation grants, real and personal property, appreciated stock or other marketable securities.
The mission of the Moline Public Schools Foundation is to augment limited resources to allow the district's students to achieve full potential by:
.Improving and strengthening school programs
.Provide enriched learning experiences
.Promoting a climate of support, involvement and interaction among the community, schools and businesses
.Supporting worthwhile projects not usually funded or inadequately funded
