Outstanding food, amazing value and good service. I had the breakfast burrito, and my husband had the corned beef. The flavor was exceptional for this price. Under $20 for the both of us. This is the epitome of "a hole in the wall" cafe, and I am glad I found this place. Highly recommend. Update. We returned and had the breakfast again #7 and #9 and once again, the service and food were both great.
There was nothing surprising or stand-out for our breakfast, but it was delicious and just the right experience we needed. It was good to support a small local business. It wasn't crowded, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. The people and service, though, was especially very good. Our server checked in regularly, and was vibrant and chatty the right amounts. I did not notice easy wheelchair access, though. There might be, but it was not clear.
The food is a bit bland. The menu choices weren't the most interesting. It still tasted alright though, just wish there was a little more to it. Side portion was small considering the size of my entree. I wasn't the most impressed overall but I think it's alright if you're looking for something simple.
If you’re in the Beech Grove area and you want a great breakfast for under $10 this is your place food was delicious service was excellent and they even have at lunch menu as well stop and get you some!

Cozy tucked away. Charming servers. Friendly. This restaurant is one for locals that lures outsiders to come have a look and experience. I had a salad with grilled chicken. Lettuce was fresh and crisp. I liked the small pieces of lettuce that made it easier to enjoy and eat. I was never offered a refill on my soda though the sever checked on me twice. Most patrons seemed to be there for the typical Hoosier breakfast consisting of everything from eggs to sausage. Cafe was comfy but great attention needs to be paid to cleaning especially walls that tables butt up against. I do hope to return to just try their breaded tenderloin and visit the many quaint shops on main street in Beech Grove.
It's not a fancy diner but apparently a local favorite for a long time. I decided to try it. Unfortunately, the omelet was a bit overcooked, brown, on the inside. It seems they tried to hide it. It didn't affect the taste much, so I didn't complain. I might give them another try.Food: 4/5
A small little place in Beech Grove. The service was great, but the food I had biscuits and gravy was meh. Maybe I should have chosen something else. Will definitely give this place another chance. Today 5/13/23 was much better. Had the Mexican Benedict and it was quite tasty. Glad I went back.
Nearly ALL STAFF recently QUIT! Red flag....I'm retired & ate there almost every day. Now the food & service ARE NOT as good & I won't go back. It's not the same great place it used to be. So befuddled as to why this all came about....so disappointed in losing a formerly great place.Food: 2/5
