Members of the Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society are interested in creating a model railroad which will show how the real railroads helped to spur economic development in the State of West Virginia and the Monongahela River Valley. Many of our members are dual scale modelers. While our society is primarily HO scale, we welcome all scales from Z to O and even G.
The purpose of this organization is to educate its members and the general public about the hobby and history of Model Railroading, and the history of railroads and industries in the area known as the Monongahela River Valley and the State of West Virginia, and how this railroad and industrial history can be translated into a miniature model railroad as an educational opportunity.
Currently we have several limited edition items for sale.
The first item is a limited edition coffee mug with CB&O logo. It is $10. Then we have Can Coolers with MVRRHS logo and a Tape measure with CB&O logo for $5 each. We also have Whistles, Engineer hats & Bandanna's for $3 each. These can only be bought by coming to MVRRHS location at 128 Pleasant, St. in Morgantown, WV 26505 on a Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30pm or at one of our public events.
