AMAZING food and drinks! Flavor of the food tastes like it is homemade. New cheesecakes weekly for dessert that are definitely a specialty. Cosy atmosphere. We highly recommend this place!!

My daughter suggested Moniker 86 Social Club for a Mother’s Day treat. The Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas were perfect! Would definitely recommend the Strawberry Bruschetta, Caprese Quiche, Shrimp & Grits and Smoked Salmon Bindle pictured. The rest of the menu also looked amazing! The lavender cheesecake was excellent! Loved the music and atmosphere! The staff is very friendly and you can tell really care about the quality of their food and service. Can’t wait to return to try other options!

Y’all. If you don’t try this before you head up to Heaven, you’re missing out. This place is one of the true gems of Cedar Rapids. Service is amazing. The family that runs the show, AMAZING. Food is even better.

Do not miss this special restaurant! The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. It is tastefully decorated to match their prohibition theme. The Gatsby Room up the steps is a wonderful spot to share drinks and appetizers, with comfortable seats and beautiful artwork. Their patio is a perfect place to dine, especially during beautiful days and chilly nights. It is equipped with heat lamps and gas fire pits which ensure comfort and relaxation. Their "giggle water" cocktails are fresh and innovative, and the bartenders are charismatic. The staff are invested in customers having the best experience, with prompt and friendly service. The dishes here are incredibly flavorful and I am always surprised by the creative dishes on the menu. Whether it be for a quick drink or a special occasion, Moniker 86 Social Club is absolutely worth your patronage.

Outstanding service with a friendly staff and incredible drinks and food. We are so excited for such a unique offering in Cedar Rapids. The owners are wonderful, and we loved getting to meet them both on our first visit here. Definitely returning. We enjoyed the Boozie Collins but can't wait to try other items on the menu. We stopped in on our anniversary and everyone on staff made our night extra special. Keep up the great work, team! We can't wait to return with our friends.

Oh my gosh what a gem this place was! The environment was cozy, comfortable and done fairly well. The service and dynamic family team was amazing, easy to converse with and enjoyable to have. Let me get to the food, AMAZING. No need to have a Cheesecake Factory like menu when all you do is execute the options you have to perfection. In the three headed monster of restaurants, these are the grades I would give out. Food: A Service: A+ Environment : B+ different lighting temperatures, and missed trim, but I’m almost fishing at this point I hope this place stays around for a LONG time and sounds like they are going to expand a bit when a coffee shopperfect for this location and more seating which is needed!

I hate giving negative reviews for small businesses, but if a business is making mistakes I'd rather tell them so they can fix it. Please also note that this was during the pandemic and nothing is normal right now. The service was excellent, however the menu is very limited. The parmesan truffle oil fries were delicious but a little greasy. The smoked chicken fajitas where pretty bland and the queso had split was grainy

I've got one word for this place: sexy. The Prohibition theme is tastefully done and perfectly suited to the space, an elegant Belle Epoque mansion. The menu is small and superbly executed. I would love to see some small jazz acts perform in this space at some point. For now, enjoy a craft cocktail, a small dish or a bite of house-made cheesecake and soak in the ambience of this sexy little speakeasy.

This place is amazing. A wonderful 20s themed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the food is to die for! Make sure to save room for their cheesecake and be sure to check out the fantastic cocktails!

Every now and again you find a place that you just love, everything is perfect, the atmosphere, the food, the service. Those places are gems. It is a must see. Easily quality enough to be in any major city in the world, but tucked away in little old Cedar Rapids, I am thankful.
