The Monroe County Health Department serves the entire population in the county. We charge only minimal fees for our services and some services have adjusted fee scales based on the ability to pay. Medicaid and Medicare are also accepted forms of payment. No one is denied service due to an inability to pay. Fees are charged for some of the environmental services.
