Sharing the love of nature through art. Finding balance internally and externally. The evolution of the universe within. Dancing around the eternal fire.
Trent Curnow is a 6th Generation Montanan who currently lives in Butte Montana. He comes from a long line of Blacksmithing dating back to 1864 in Virginia City. His current art is focused on printmaking but he is also skilled at painting, drawing, pottery, blacksmithing, Bladesmithing and Mono-Print.
What is Mono-Print?
A Mono-Print is a form of printmaking that produces only one print therefore each piece is one of a kind original. Trent uses oil based inks to produce the images on glass the transfers the image onto paper.
What are you looking at?
That is entirely up to you and your imagination. Hopefully you feel an emotional response from viewing the prints. Each piece is done while listening to music and the patterns and rhythms play a large role in the outcome of the art.
If you must have your art defined, it is a visual study of the dimensional plane and the relationship between positive an d negative space.
Thank you for taking the time to view my art, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
