Montclair Township Library

Great place to spend some quiet time in the afternoon. I come here to get some work done when I can’t focus at home or to just sit and relax while reading a book. There is plenty of desk space on the second floor for setting up your laptop. Better than trying to get work done at Starbucks! The intra-library loan system is also great.

I like Montclair library, it is a great spot when I need a quiet place to read and get some work done on my laptop. The 3rd floor for kids it's great since you walk up the stairs the colorful drawings on the wall transport you to a colorful world, my daughter really enjoys to go there.

The Montclair Public Library is one of the top libraries in Essex County. The Cafe is closed due to the pandemic, but they are scheduling classes for 2022. The library was clean and the self check out was efficient. I love the spiral staircase and the light throughout the space.

Great library. Amazing variety of books for all ages. The stuff who works there is nice and knowledgeable.

This library is awesome! Not only is it a nice atmosphere with good seating and wi-fi, but there is an attached cafe with really good food. A great alternative to Starbucks for somewhere to meet someone for a cup of coffee or to work.

Great community library. Excellent resources especially for kids. The inter library loan system is spectacular and reliable. One area for improvement would be more e-Books.

I love the Becckles system. Edit: When you bring back your items always bring them to the library clerk. They often don't remember to check items in on the belt. So if you requested something always bring it to the clerk because if THEY lose it YOURE responsible for it.
