Monte Ne has an address in Rogers AR and is less than 30 minutes from Bentonville AR, making it a good location for all things in and around the Bentonville area. This is an older, well-established campground with mature trees and solid, gravel roadways and sites. The sites, which are tiered into the hillside, are of various sizes and shapes, with some being very large our rig and trailer total 75’, we didn’t have to unhitch and still had room on our site for our van. All sites had a firepit and a table. Many sites are occupied by long-term stays. The campsite is very quiet and offers lake access. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
A phone # on their website is the wrong number & the person who has that number has tried to get it removed many times, poor guy. Yesterday we reached out & a women named Kristen said that they had multiple spots open so we called 24 hours later to book. A different woman answered and said "I'm holding a 22 month old baby I can't look up your stuff right now". I called back later and spoke to Kristen who said "we haven't had sites open for months I don't know why I said that yesterday". Red flags all around
Very friendly folks and good clean rv park easy to get into with our 36 foot motorhome. Great prices for what we needed.
The good thing is that it was quiet all day and all night. Nice and shady too. There were only a few sites for us weekend campers as most sites were taken by full timers and traveling workers. It was easy to pull in to our site, but, very difficult to pull out. Sites are not very big. Price is fair so I can't complain. Not sure if I would go back.
This park was just fine for use. Only $30 per night with sewer at each site. It is a very basic park, but if you are there to visit Rogers and Bentonville, you won't be at your site that much. There are, more or less, permanent residence there which you can identify by sheds and some outdoor appliances. The residents were friendly and the park had very friendly and helpful staff.
I booked this place for a trip in May of 2021 after looking at a few of the pics online. They looked amazing. We arrived to a campground that was run down, had a water slide that was overgrown with weeds that appeared to have been shut down years ago. I am not sure where the online pics were taken, but it sure didn’t highlight the true nature of the place. It amazes me how this place gets 4/5 star ratings! It was full of permanent old campers that were in disrepair and in need of work . Our site was lacking a picnic table, and the one next to us was broken . We did not take this issue up with the owners as we had our own small table to use. The sewer hook up had a rock that was used as a cover for the hole. We took a walk around the place one evening and were greeted by aggressive barking dogs that were luckily on a leash. One place had a old pontoon boat next to it. The bathrooms were disgusting, and I feel sorry for anyone who had to use them . The only positives about the place was the shady spot we were given, the “ residents “ of the campground didn’t bother us, and it was relatively quiet aside from this annoying moped that lacked a muffler that always was running around the place. We would not stay here again and absolutely not recommend it.
This RV park SUCKS. Do not waste your money. My husband was there for almost two years. At first wasn’t to bad. The park is ran down management is RUDE and stays drunk or pilled out she also tries to get pills from the tenants . She will cuss you out and threaten to kick you out on a regular basis. There is drug activity everywhere in the park when you bring it to the attention of management they just ignore the problem. Loud parties and drunks on the daily. We met a nice couple that has been there for 8 years and they say it is awful. The bathrooms are always nasty and are locked up for Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. Stay as far away as you can.
A group of us 4 trailers went here last fall 2020. They set us up all right next to each other so we could have a little campfire and share our kitchen set up and meal area. Camp was quiet and peaceful. It is obviously a long-term campground judging by the condition of some of the trailers, but so what......everybody has to live somewhere. The folks we talked to were friendly. Showers and restrooms were clean. A good place for a 4 or 5 day hang out off the beaten path.
This place was completely run down. I was surrounded by old falling apart campers and junky yards. Needless to say I spent 1 night there and quickly find better accommodations. Not at all what they make it out to be.
Great place for RV's or tents even a few rental cabins.
