"Montecito Barbers is the oldest running barbershop in Santa Barbara that is still managed by its original owners. In fact, the business has been in the Sanchez family hands for three generations. However, it doesn’t just stop there. The history of barbers in the family stems back 6 generations. Montecito Barbers has also been the sole barber shop in Montecito for over 45 years. Probably since they’ve scared their competition away."

Great haircuts and good conversation. This team is killing it. I don’t want to say miracle workers, but they can make me look good! Book ahead though, they rarely have an empty seat!
Guys got me cleaned up for a wedding on super short notice. Super friendly and a great trim too. 11/10.
I usually go 3-4 months between cuts, and Juan and Steve have given me my favorite cuts I have ever had, bar none! They can be talkative if your in the mood, or respect quiet if you're not. Both guys are very detailed oriented, and can help you figure out what you want if unsure. they communicate thoroughly to make sure you get the cut that you want. Can't recommend them enough!!
I'm not sure why you'd go anywhere else. If you do it's only because you couldn't walk in and immediately get an appointment. Which is the case sometimes, but shouldn't that be a sign of the quality of haircut you're to receive. I wouldn't take it any other way. Shea and Tim are the best in SB and cut everyone I know. Walk in or call a day before you need your haircut and set up an appointment. You won't be disappointed.
Good young cool guys, easy conversation, good haircut for me, 70 year old, but apparently also for young men in their 20s. Pretty pricey...$40, vs my usual at Fantastic Sam's, $18.

Excellent barber shop, the guys there are awesome. Always very friendly and I'm someone who's very picky about his haircuts, but I always walk out feeling like I got a good stylish cut.
Montecito Barbers is hands down the best barber shop in Santa Barbara. Original owners for over 50 years there's pictures to prove it! As soon as you walk in all the barbers make you feel right at home. Everyone that comes in always makes a friendship with the guys. They have multiple tv's to accommodate everyone, one will be stocks/news, the other will be sports. If you have children they have a xbox as well so that the little ones can be entertained. Overall the shop has a very friendly/classy atmosphere.Unlike others shops Montecito Barbers does appointments which are great for busy schedulesrecommend calling and making one before. Tim and his team will make you look clean for just a simple cut or a wedding day. P.s if Tim wants to try something knew with your hair, give it try. i have had multiple friends including myself and everyone loves it!If you love your hair, Give Montecito Barbers a call!
Been here for years Dad got his hair cut here as kid and they never disappoint. Best shop in town.
