Monterey Cafe

We went for breakfast and the place was nice and airy. The staff was very attentive and the food was good. I had been traveling for a bit and they had some of the best french toast I had in days. They were light and fresh, just the way I like them.Food: 5/5

We came for breakfast in early morning. The shop opened on time and ready to serve us. Our order took 10-15 min while waiting we had very fresh good coffee. Our food was so hood and very big dish. We finished it all. Staffs were nice and friendly. Recommend to come a bit early morning…Food: 4/5

Food was OK. Service was ok. There weren't too many breakfast restaurant choices in the area and this one had high ratings, and After we sat down we were told their card reader wasn't working so they were accepting cash only, which was inconvenient since the ATM was across the street and charged a fee.

I had the corned beef and hash with my eggs sunny side up, and it came with hash browns. It was seasoned well and the portions were big. Although I like my egg yolks runny, the egg whites were too runny for my taste. The service and atmosphere were fine.Food: 3/5

This place is crowded, you have to stand at the door waiting to get a seat, they don’t take your name. I ordered a basic breakfast and it was not good. Their biscuits and gravy had a slight sour taste and was not good. Their hash browns are super thick like mash potatoes and have onions in them. Some pieces of the bacon was overcooked and some ok. Don’t trust the hype of these reviews. Get a better breakfast at Dennys.

The place is small and a little cramped. The decor and atmosphere is good, but a little more room to back up would be better. It was very packed, with a line out the door just after we walked in. The French toast was slightly undercooked but still very good. The eggs were light and fluffy. The pork shop was bland with no sauce or gravy of any kind, and the Hash browns were a little mushy. The Valdez Burrito was very good, especially when accompanied with the Spanish sauce.

It's a cute cafe without wifi, but with delicious breakfast. Check out the waffles I got. Prices are higher than I expected but it's Monterey. You'll like it, trust me.Food: 5/5

Enjoyed breakfast here on Christmas morning. The staff was friendly and the food was hearty…good sized portions and reasonable prices. They have the best home fried potatoes.

What a great find for us. The food is excellent and service is wonderful. The staff is on top of everything. Never had to ask for more coffee . They were very vigilant about refilling your cup. They serve a good size portion so come hungry. The sausage was flavorful and the pancakes are huge. And despite how busy they were all the food came out piping hot.
