Montessori programs for ages 18 months - 6+ years enriches children's minds while nurturing their spirits.
The Montessori approach to education for children 18 months - 6 years of age provides a wide range of experiences to help each child’s development.
The children are given the opportunity to engage in spontaneous, meaningful activities at their own pace and rhythm, with the guidance of a trained adult.
Our environment has been designed with your children in mind. Everything in the classroom has been scaled down to their size with low shelves that display a wealth of beautiful, carefully chosen, learning materials.
Our Community. Our Mission.
Montessori Children’s Community was founded out of profound respect for children and a devotion to educating children for a peaceful world. Our Community is committed to Montessori’s approach to education and operates on the principle of freedom within limits, respect for one’s self, for others and for the environment. Montessori Children's Community is recognized as an Initiate Member by the American Montessori Society.
Our “Whole Child” approach embraces each child’s individual progress toward concentration, inner-discipline and self-confidence by allowing each child to reach their full potential at their own pace and level.
Our environment is filled with beautiful, carefully chosen materials that progress developmentally from concrete expressions of concepts to more abstract representations. The materials in the classroom represent a three year curriculum of work and they invite the child to explore and encourage the child to be creative.
Montessori Children’s Community admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
