Montessori Tides School is a nationally recognized Montessori School. Its roots were established in 1986 as a Montessori environment for ages three to six years old. The current facility now includes a full complement of ages 16 months through the Grade 6.
Keeping with the Montessori philosophy, the goal at Montessori Tides School is two-fold: first, we believe that each child should be allowed to experience the excitement of learning by his own choice rather than being forced, and secondly, we help him to perfect his natural skills for learning, so that his ability will be at a maximum in future learning situations.
