A nice smaller park next to the Interstate but slightly off the main interchange. Hard rains left pools of water on the utility side of the sites causing me to park off center or wade through the pools. Because of that I could not level in site 1 however moving to a better site was not a problem so we ended up in site 33. The utilities were good and the operators were very nice. It was quiet at night despite its proximity to I-65. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset after the front moved by. Owner came out early to fill our propane before our 8:00am departure. TYVM
This place was perfect for the night as we were traveling south. The staff was very friendly and the sites were clean and well-cared-for. Laundry room bathrooms and showers were readily available. We would definitely stay here again on our way up 65.Rooms: 4/5
Very close to main highway, plenty of gas stations to choose before continuing on your journey. Park was easy to find, ready to get into, got in late at night and owners took my information though the phone and had a map and spot ready for us when we got there. Full hookups and big rig friendly sites. Highly recommend.
Great park for an overnight stop while traveling. Easy to get to and convenient to the interstate. Some road noise but you should expect that when staying next to the road. The owners were very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
We overnighted here for the first time on our way back to Atlanta. This is a great RV park! All sites are pull through and big enough for all sizes. Neat and clean and easy access to I65. The owners are super friendly and helpful. We liked this place so much I've already booked stays for our trips in 2023.
Very important, very nice people to deal with. Nice organized RV park. Clean. Good for few day stay or stop over. We will stay here again on our way to Florida.
To get to this campground from I-65, there is a sharp-ish turn onto Venable. Road. The entrance to the campground is a bit tight as part of it is blocked off with a cone. The interior roads are also challenging with more cones and other obstacles. Do-able but could be nerve wracking for more timid drivers. A very nice lady checked us in. She was cordial and quick and led us to our site. Someone also greeted you on your way out to see if everything was ok which is a nice touch. The site was plenty long enough for our 45 ft MH and toad. It was also pretty darn level, so we were able to use our air levelers. Sites are close together with just a strip of grass separating them. There are a fair number of long-term renters. Lots of hot spots – 10 of them - but none worked for us. Luckily, T-Mobile was 5G 4 bars and Verizon was 4G 4 bars, so we used our own hot spots. Satellite would not be a problem. For us, the noise was pretty awful. You have a great view of the traffic, and all that associated racket. In addition, you are treated to trains, planes, and either guns or fireworks not sure which. Pretty pricey considering the hubbub of noise and lack of Wi-Fi. We’ll keep looking if in the area again.
Spent one night, passing through. Very clean and quiet. Wonderful owners. Friendly and helpful. Nicest bathroom/showers we've seen anywhere.
Stayed twice, one night each, on our trip to & from Charleston. Be aware that this is a ‘journey’ park. No frills pool, clubhouse, etc. plain..this is a traveling-thru park. But! The owners are VERY friendly and accommodating, park is clean and maintained, and sites are wide. Plenty of dog green space too. Near the interstate but we never heard noise with our door closed. All sites pull thru. Loves around the corner for gas, too. Recommend!!
A very nice place, very clean and super nice people. We only stayed overnight. The site was a very large pull thru. Will certainly make this park a stop again.
