Just had the worst experience with them. I’m new to the area, in a new building and they did alarm tests last week. The big alarm went off again and I evacuated for a little then went back in thinking it was another test since nothing was on fire and it had been over 20 minutes. Everything was fine but when the fire department showed up they yelled at me for not calling them immediately and not staying outside. They then said it was my apartments fault for the alarm when I hadn’t cooked or anything. Very rude and almost had me in tears feeling like I did something wrong.
One of the fire alarms went off early in the morning, warning smoke, but I didn’t see any. After I Reported the non-emergency event to FD, they responded very Courteously and quickly, arriving on the scene within about 10 minutes and they resolved the issue.
