Great park area for the kids. Has some small trails that run along a creek. Saw some wild life. Very well kept for a city park. Rotary Cove was a nice peaceful area to walk and see nature. Restrooms: Wife had to use the facilities. Not to speak of. Needs to be updated. But there was toilet paper, so that was a plus.
Great park. The kids and dogs absolutely love it! We love the beautiful water that runs through the park.
My family loves it here! It's nice for get togethers, weddings, hiking, reading, and taking the kids to play at the park. They also have baseball fields where games take place it's really fun in summer. There are lodges where you can have shelter for cookouts. I love the lights for Christmas!
Appalled at the condition of this park. Years ago it was such a great resource for Monticello. Now it's run down, with little maintenance. The bathrooms are horrendous. I'd expect cleaner bathrooms given it's a city facility. Absolutely disgusting. No soap available in the bathrooms, even after requesting soap days before renting a pavilion. I'd sooner utilize a different city park next time, because this was a terrible experience.
Rotary cove is a beautiful oasis, one of the sweet things about monticello. A small bubbling stream runs from the N.W. down thru spilling into Dodge Camp at S.E.. With several different species of trees add a covered bridge and 2 quiet gazebos finishing with the boardwalk pier with benches for fishing or just a stroll, this is the treasure of the cove and all of Monticello's great parks and recreations'.
Great spot for everyone ! Needs some updating of the playground for sure but still and nice spot to stop let the kids get their enery out

Its well taken care of! The paths are very well taken care of. I like the signs for all the different trees.

It is simply beautiful around ever corner!! Gotta remember this spot for taking senior pictures of my kids.
