Small but great museum! Great for aviation enthusiasts. Would be great to bring kids here. Second floor has a collection of old airplanes and first floor has photos, art, and small models.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Excellent place for kids ! museum with a history of several years, perhaps it is a small place but it contains a great history after so many years of aeronautics! very friendly employees and very entertaining place! I highly recommend it to take the family.
Always a great place to visit. Grass roots working museum where you can learn much about Canada's role in the continuing evolution of the aviation sector. Bring your children, the whole family will love it.
Pretty cool place. Lots of history pieces. Worth the look if your an aviation junkie.
Small but really cool museum to visit...
My 3 year old was so excited to see all the planes. It's a simple museum but great for both, small kids and aviation enthusiasts.
The main advantage of this place are the enthusiasts that work and volunteer here. But the exposition is not big and mostly covers older and smaller planes. The other advantage are the simulators, that actually work and are supervised, so you can use them and get quite a good experience.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
A special museum with a lot of heart. Worth a stop in if you like aviation, there is so much history to see here. It's not the most high tech but many actual planes and parts are on display.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
I was not expecting much when I went to this museum located in an old barn on McGill's St Anne's campus, but I must say, I'll be going back again! Run by volunteers, we were given a guided tour, available in English or French, by André. He was extremely knowledgeable in everything aviation. The tour starts downstairs with incredible paintings and models of the different aircraft from the beginning of manned flight. Then we moved upstairs where a few actual aircraft, parts and more models were located. You can see several replicas and restorations in progress and meet the people working on them. If you're interested in aviation make sure to visit. Open Monday, Tuesday and Saturday.
Wide collection of old aircrafts that have been assembled in a very nice way, with flight simulators old and new, engines, and a thorough history of the aviation in Canada. The museum volunteers are super nice and they guided us and explained a lot of the museum items in detail. I'd definitely recommend visiting this place!
