Horrible police department. I got pulled over for going "over 65" in a 40 zone. I was doing 45, and i myself admitted that to the officer. I asked him to provide me with evidence on his radar that I was going over 65 but he instead returned from his cruiser with a ticket for careless driving, as he does not have to put the speed on that ticket. Officer J Guico treated me with no respect whatsoever, he is a very unprofessional and uninformed officer.
It’s ridiculous to see these officers just sitting at the Montvale rest area and waiting to give out tickets literally every 30 seconds, that’s not exactly why we need police for, just to give out tickets and make big money on us!
I and my family have lived in this great town for over 25 years. Our 4 sons went through the school system and are now doing well off on their own. We could not have asked for a better town to raise our children in or a better police dept . I've witnessed so many extraordinary times when our PD rose to the occasion and raised the bar for all police depts. They care about their town and everyone in it. If you are feeling that they are spending too much time in that spot it must mean they were told to keep a watchful eye on it OR that the potential for people to drive erratic in that spot is putting people lives in danger and it must be watched until they see a significant drop in the amount of people that have been hurt. My best advice is to drive respectfully when in that area and be thankful they are making people slow down so that they the drivers may get a chance to stop and smell the Rose's in the future. We are downsizing and moving out of State. I'm really going to miss these guys. Thanks.
Wow. Traffic light issue and I called and they didn’t bother to answer the phone! Crazy!
