Friendly, knowledgeable staff, cute shop with lots of vegan options. My husband got a great pair of office shoes that he loves, and that look great. *UPDATE* - his shoes purchased 2 years ago are still in great shape and still look clean and professional, although at one point they needed a very small section re-glued, which was a simple fix and has held up great since. He still loves the shoes he got here and would highly recommend this shop.
Love coming here. Teddy that cat is very friendly and so is the girl who works there. They have a good selection! I've bought causal sneakers and nice loafers for a wedding from here. Prices are what you'd expect for a specialty shoe store but I'm still rocking a pair I bought here for over a year so expect good durability.
Honestly would have liked to give a good review, I love the products but I bought a pair of shoes the other day half a size lower than usual as the sales rep advised me that they sized larger than usual. Turns out they really aren't my size, that was bad advice, and MooShoes won't exchange products that have been worn. I understand it in a way but now I'm just stuck with a useless pair of $150 shoes.
Part of the reason I wanted to drive down to L.A. from San Francisco was Moo Shoes. I've followed them on instagram and online, but there's nothing quite like being able to try shoes on your very feet in store. They have a tiny little shared parking lot which was a little tricky to get into, but once you're in, it's right next to the store. The store itself really isn't by that much else -- it seems to be an area in the early stages of "gentrifying". However, what's inside the store is more than you need. Plenty of vegan-friendly options in a wide variety of styles. They were patient while my husband and I tried on piles of shoes. We each ended up leaving with a few pairs hey -- it's a long drive back up to the Bay Area. I was also thrilled when I was told that Isa had bought the same pair of shoes I was buying -- fun! Clean, nice environment, and great products. It's a little spendy especially for some of the lower-end vegan-friendly brands, but I'm happy to help keep a vegan shoe store in business. Oh -- and one mustn't forget to mention their lovely store cat! A shop with a kitty in it is well worth visiting.
Awesome on all counts. They have vegan food trucks visiting on the street all the time. Get on their Twitter feed etc. to learn about food trucks. Oh and I love the vegan shoes, already bought two pair. Update 2020: Sadly, they left this location, during the pandemic, when so many stores along Sunset have been forced out of business. But they do have other locations and an online store.
There was a very friendly lady always smile, and with kindness took good care of showing us the different alternates we had to choose our selection
We were in the area and after 17 national parks including hikes and recreational running all in the same pair of sneakers, I was long overdue for a new set. And behold, here we see MooShoes Los Angeles and so we popped in. David was helping us today and he is PHENOMENAL. He was very attentive, patient you'll see why soon and we hit it off with our mutual love for pop music um...yes holler at me if you still remember Danity Kane!
Best place to get ethically-made, stylish & sexy shoes, bags, belts, and tshirts. Lots of great women's shoes and boots! Plus one cute store kitty!
MooShoes have a great selection of beautiful shoes, but I have to admit the highlight of my visit and what drew me in was the store cat!
I ordered shoes in a size 6 and they were 2" too large so they were more like a size 8. I returned them and received a full refund.
