For my daughter's wedding, we had donuts instead of cake. Best decision ever made. The jelly donuts were so full, not just one bite, but all bites had jelly in them. The variety was over the top. So many complements about the donuts during the reception. Added bonus - nut/tree nut free facility for those of us with allergies. We love Moonrise Doughnuts :
One of my favorite donut places in the Cincinnati metro area. Definitely up there with Marcella’s, but a different type of good. Moonrise always has new, innovative, fresh donuts and I definitely recommend making an evening run as these are perfect any time of day. Out of this most recent visit, I liked blueberry bar the best. It had a lovely glaze on top with pieces of blueberry mixed in, so you know it was authentic. I’ve been a few times because it’s not very close to me, but definitely worth the drive.
I have a severe peanut and tree-nut allergy, so I have never been able to go to a donut shop before. This place is not only completely nut free, but they serve incredible donuts with a wild variety of flavors. I’m hoping to be able to have them cater for my wedding as well for a safe dessert option for me to have!
I was super hyped to try this place with everyone raving over their donuts. the hot donuts were delicious! blueberry the day we stopped. But the other donuts were average. Maybe I was to hyped? Me and my husband have tried 14 different donut shops now.
Absolutely love this place!!! They have not only fantastic donuts but also great people working there! We had them do our wedding since I do not really like cake and that is all I hear about now from my wedding guests!!

OMG we loved this place on our first visit as new neighbors to this area. Super friendly, super delicious, everyone there and the donuts were all great! Hot donuts that you can order? DO IT!!!!! SO AMAZING!!!
We go there at least one day a week. Best donuts in town. Especially the hot special surprise donut of the day is even great. I highly recommend this place in Latonia KY
First time at this little Bakery! We drove an hour and five minutes to get there! It was worth it! Everyone was so friendly! The shop was so full of deliciousness and we even got hot lemon donuts which I wasn't for sure about, but decided to try one and it was delicious!!! Best little Bakery in the world! What a fun selection, too! Will definitely be back sometime! Thank you, Moonrise Bakery!
Wonderful place to grab some Nice, Hot, Amazing Doughnuts! When I first walked in I was warmly greeted by the woman behind the counter. The first thing I do in a new place is announce that it is my first visit, in hopes of sparking that "Introduction" of what the place is and what they offer and that's exactly what I got. They have a nice variety of doughnuts and flavors of doughtnutswarm cherry is ahhhhmazing by the way. They have one "Hot" doughnut flavor that changes daily! I urge you to go on different days to try the rest! They offer gift cards for loved ones to try Moonrise Doughnuts. Or, Moonrise Tees if you are looking to support them. What knocked it out of the park for me, after all that going so well, was the Price! It is NOT and I repeat NOT expensive at all! I grabbed 9 doughnuts total, Three of those being Fresh from the fryer; it only cost $9.00. I was super happy with that! They also are a HUB for the Hidden Rocks Facebook Group as seen in one of the pictures, they allow Drop Off and of course One1 rock pick up! The cook who I think may have been the owner came out during our transaction and was also very pleasant to speak with, they were extremely nice to everyone they came encounter with. Overall this place will become a staple in the community. lasting a very long time, with astonishing customer service, and actual customer interactions with the owner also add in the fact they have nailed it with Hot Doughnuts will prove they will be here for a very very long time! not like the line that goes out the door and a half block down doesn't tell you they will be around for a long time. Thank you Moonrise for awesome unmatched customer service and Doughnuts!
