Although I have never rented any of the cabins, I have stopped in to the resort and gone by many times while fishing on lake Tsala Apopka. I have rented pontoon boats there on three separate occasions. Everything is neat and clean at the resort and the cabins look like they would be a great place to stay. I have checked into the cabin rental in the winter months when I have friends or family from up north come down to go fishing but the cabins are booked solid through the winter months. Would be a great place to stay for someone trying to get away from the cold weather up north and do some relaxing fishing on the multiple lakes available from that location.
We have been going to Moonrise for years. We brought out our RV up every so often until last year, when we decided to make it permanent. Working Stacey with our past rentals and how comfortable she made us feel is what gave us the our final decision to just go. That Lakeview didn't hurt either From boat rentals to any issues that came up she made everything so easy. We feel like family here and seriously so grateful for Stacey. Best decision we made!
It was very hard to reach anyone to make a reservation. With that being said the people are very nice. The view from the cabins is just exceptional boat ramps dock everything very good rooms not so clean but for a fishing camp situation acceptable. We had a great time met some lovely people and will definitely be going back
This was one of the best deals ever for a relaxing vacation in Florida and the price was unbelievable! My sister and I and her son and his wife rented cabin #5 with the 2 bedrooms from 9/11 thru 9/17,2021. We were a little anxious that the twin beds in my sister and my room might be uncomfortable but to our surprise they had great mattresses and we slept very well. It was so much fun seeing her son getting up at the crack of dawn and walking right outside to the dock to do some fishing. My son lives on this lake and can boat over it's so close. We are from Georgia and came to visit him and his wife. For anyone needing a break away from everything and to just chill, you need to book a cabin here and I assure you , you will enjoy it...10 stars if I could
We rented cabin #2 This is a cute, quaint cabin with a stellar view! Very affordable and clean, sits in the back of a nice mobile home community. If you're looking for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle, look no further Rooms: 5/5
Rented a cabin for 4 days to get away from daily stressors. Awesome experience, able to do some fishing and wanting to go back. Only mishap was the confusion about the rental pontoon boat and Stacy was very accommodating. We know the actual rental price for the next time. Next time I'll bring some food because the food at most restaurants around want very good. I'll definitely go back for some more relaxation.
Beautiful and spotless facility. Our cabin was so nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Gorgeous sunrises right across from our screened porch. We rented a pontoon boat from them which was excellent. Could not have asked for a more relaxing time! Claudia and Alan, the managers, were so kind and accommodating!
We stayed at the Resort for a month and loved it. Claudia and Allen are the greatest hosts. Anything you need they will help you get it. All the people there are very friendly. The lake is beautiful just wish the Bass would have been biting better. The only thing this park needs are more activities for the people but I know they are working on that. We are definitely coming back. Again great place to stay.
We stayed at Moonrise to celebrate my husband's first father's day. I was hopeful based on all the positive reviews and the website, however this place greatly exceeded my expectations. The cabins and the grounds are very clean couldn't tell that someone just checked out a few hours before, oven looked brand new and they really do accommodate guests with everything they need. We had everything we needed in the kitchen we still brought tin foil, paper plates, seasonings, things like that, the bathroom was stocked with plenty of fluffy towels and although we didn't spend much time inside having cable TV was nice. The staff are super friendly and helpful, they helped us fill our infant daughter's kiddie pool even. The lake is beautiful and my husband did pretty well catching bass he used a rubber worm FYI! and with such a reasonable price per night, we were planning future visits before the trip was over! This is a great alternative to camping with a little one, all the fun of the outdoors with the comforts of home!
