Surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, this charming farmhouse has over 1000 feet of a pristine, state stocked, trout stream, known as Elk Creek, running through the 2.5 acre property.
Endless opportunities await you on the farm. Casting your line for that trophy trout, splashing in the swimming holes, hiking, cycling, playing croquet or horse shoes, even catching fire flies at dusk on a summer’s eve.
When you’re ready to venture away from the farm, you’re at the foot of the High Country. To your left, Boone, Blowing Rock, & Banner Elk. To your right, the charming town of West Jefferson. Antiquing, Tweetsie Railroad, ski resorts, horseback riding, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, the original Mast General Store of Valle Crucis, a Tanger Outlet Mall and Moses Cone Estate are all within a short drive.
When all the activities have worn you out, there’s nothing better than rocking away the time on the porch’s rockers or perhaps a nap in the hammock by the creek would sooth your sole.
